Schools are considered our second home This is where we learn almost everything, starting from the basic such as reading and writing Before we turn into adults, this is the place where we get most of our training Therefore, schools should also be the avenue to prepare us to enter into another chapter – the working life Schools must extend its training by educating and guiding the young people to their future career Yes , definitely My hometown is the best place to visit on a holiday as it has the best scenic views and a lot of places to roam around Also my hometown is kind of famous for its delicious food and shopping areas Describe a tourist attraction you once visited You should say  When you visited it  Where is it situated  Whom you went with  and say what about it you like the most Sample Answer I love to visit places, but due to my busy schedule, I am unable to go out on a lot of trips on holidays Before the global pandemic started, I visited Sikkim with my family I don’t clearly remember the exact date ,but it was in the month of May, 2019 It was summer, but the weather was very soothing there Sikkim is one of the smallest states of India situated in the North eastern part Since my childhood I was drawn towards mountains more than I was towards the sea Mountains always used to be peaceful and calm and I think that is the most attractive part of it We started our journey from Pelling which is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga The town is filled with monasteries and waterfalls Pemayangtse Monastery is another equally important Buddhist shrine in Pelling I visited the place the same day I visited Khecheopalri Lake,Rimbi fall, Kanchenjunga falls and Singshore bridge It is the second largest suspension bridge in Asia The next day we visited Rabdentse Ruins and in the evening we were off to Ravangla Unfortunately it started to rain so we were unable to visit anything but Temi tea garden on our way to ravangla The next day we were off to Gangtok We stayed there and went out on alternative days for sightseeing We visited Tsomgo lake, Seven Sisters waterfall, Banjhakri falls, Rumtek monastery The days we were not sightseeing, we used to spend quality time in the Gangtok “mail” which they used to call their shopping markets We were unable to visit Nathula Pass as it started to snow heavily We visited Yumthang-the valley of flowers and the flower shows of Gangtok The beautiful snow capped mountains, the waterfalls, the monasteries, the lakes, the people and everything was so serene and beautiful Sikkim increased my love for mountains ever since I had a memorable trip which I will relive forever Describe an unforgettable trip you have had You should say  When and where you went  Who you went with  What you did there  And explain why you think it was enjoyable Sample Answer Well, it has been two years since I had my very first motorbike trip with my colleagues to one of the most ancient villages situated in the Northwestern part of our country And I have to say that it was the most memorable trip that I’ve ever had Our group with people made a decision to visit a village because we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get off the beaten track Moreover, the village was fairly typical of the countryside in our country, so we wanted to get an insight into the lifestyle of local people there We set out for a day trip quite early I’m always a night owl, not an early bird, so leaving the city at a.m made me feel like I was deprived of sleep However, I was over the moon shortly after embarking on the trip to the village This was because on the way to get there, we had a chance to get the magnificent views of breathtaking landscapes which is totally different from the city we are currently living in After a long drive, we got to the picturesque village which made me feel deliriously happy We rented some bikes to cycle around the village to feel the vibes of the village After that, we visited some 400-year-old ancient house and had a look at communal houses where the local people gathered for festival celebrations or public meetings Then we had lunch and the food was scrumptious In the afternoon, we joined a cooking class with the villagers who were extremely friendly and clever at making traditional cakes The highlight of the trip to the village was going to the paddy fields to help the farmers harvest the crop It was once-in-a-lifetime experience which we really enjoyed My friend was like a dog with two tails while I was also on cloud nine We relished everything in the village from the fresh air, cozy ambience to beautiful landscapes such as small houses or paddy fields We hoped that we can have a longer trip to the countryside down the road if we had more spare time CINEMA Do you like watching films? I love watching films, but I am not a film maniac So, you will not find me every Friday standing outside any of the theatres looking for movies Or for that matter, watching old movies on television or internet 24/7 Whenever a movie of great story does come in, say for example, barfi or an inspiring film like Chak De, I go and watch them Do you prefer foreign films or Indian films? I love watching both, the only thing that matters is that the story should be good I like watching films in which you get your answers for leading a beautiful life This does not certainly means I love motivational movies but then even a romcom can teach you so much So, for me the story matters, every thing else is secondary, How often you visit cinema for watching films? For most part, I like watching films at my home under by blanket But, when there are lot of my friends going out, I company them However, this does not happen very often So, one can say, if the movie genres such as romance, comedy, action, fantasy and science-fiction dramas As a child, Lee had hoped to become a professional football player He was selected for the youth football class of South Korean manager and former professional player Cha Bum-Kun, but an injury during his 5th grade of elementary school put an end to his aspiration Despite hailing as one of the most anticipated series in also read it in the evening The fine print quality, committed journalism, news presentation and authenticity of news are the most important aspects I like about his newspaper I like their editorial part the most and the in-depth analysis of their journalists and editor is really good This newspaper has comprehensive sections on international news, sports, business and political news The way the journalist and the news analysts present news and analysis is quite remarkable and they seem to be the only newspaper that still maintains the white journalism As a reader, I have compared this newspaper with many others and I have always decided to continue reading it I feel like the news and coverage of this newspaper is not biassed and whenever I read something, I can be sure of the authenticity of the news This makes me stick to this newspaper for a long Describe a website you use a lot that helps you a lot in your work or studies You should say:  what the website is  how (https://en.wikipedia.org) is what I am talking about This website provides an array of information in the forms of articles virtually on all kinds of subjects from history to anthropology to space science and anything in between Many visitors come to Wikipedia to acquire knowledge while many others come to share their valuable knowledge One of the best things about this website is that there always are other links towards the ends of most articles for other articles of interest, relevant external websites and pages and reference material Besides, all articles on this website are being updated and edited continuously by a large number of “editors” from diverse backgrounds, and therefore, information received on this website is always extensive and reliable for the knowledge seekers If this website didn’t exist, I would not be able to write many of my term papers at my university Besides, as a business student, I have to a lot of case studies on different companies and their business policies, and I wouldn’t exactly be able to finish those case studies properly without the help of this great website Finally, this website also helps me in gathering accurate data and information in preparing and delivering my PowerPoint presentation, which involves displaying the improvement/profit graphs of some giant corporation in the world, in front of the class Describe what you saw and enjoyed during a visit to a zoo Hãy mô tả bạn xem thích thăm sở thú As one who loves animals, I once paid a visit to the zoo in Kuala Lumpur, One of the largest I have ever seen I liked everything there so much that I shall never forget that visit I visited the zoo on a Sunday together with a few of my friends After leaving our homes early in the morning we reached the zoo before noon We then bought our tickets and entered the zoo The first thing that impressed me, as we entered the zoo, was its size and beauty I could hardly believe that a zoo could be so large In beauty too it was one of the best places that I had ever seen I saw many kinds of plants and flowers all round I also saw some lakes in which ducks of various kinds were swimming I then noted that the cages of the animals in this zoo are separated from one another, which makes one’s visit more interesting After visiting One cage the visitor has to walk a short distance to reach the next cage In this way one has to spend more time resting here and there to visit all the cages Walking round the zoo therefore becomes more interesting My friends and I, however, visited the monkeys first They were of various types from different parts of the world They were all very active, though they had been confined(1) to their cages for a long time Then, we went to the places where the tigers and the lions were kept These animals did not seem to be active like the monkeys They were all lying down and looking at the visitors without any interest I was a little surprised at their coolness(2) After that we saw the other animals, reptiles(3) and birds Their variety was amazing We were all deeply interested in their behaviour and movements within their cages Then, alter spending several hours in the zoo, we went out and had a refreshing drink of coconut water(4) After that we returned home, feeling very happy Describe a health problem you once had You should say:  what it was  what problems it caused you  some specific foods and dust I think I inherited the symptoms genetically I did not notice the issue before until I was attacked by allergy recently Different parts of my body were irritating me and only itching on the spots brought the relief Sometimes, my fingers, lips and thighs turned red The allergy attacked me at any time of the day when I was in slight touch with dust or took any of the allergic foods unconsciously Even today, having beef or shrimp is forbidden for me though I loved them much before the allergic attack Besides, I have to use face mask before going out I am unable to take breath opening my mouth fearing the entrance of dust which may trigger the allergy I have to remain careful always about the issue In fact, it is irritating for me to carry a face mask, abstain from taking my favouring foods and more other issues In a word, I had to be more cautious about the lifestyle that I never did before the allergy was triggered Thereby, it was a bit difficult for me to adjust to the new lifestyle like taking foods at home, be careful when going out, keeping myself away from dust etc Doctors said that allergy is never cured rather the patients with allergy are advised to keep it under control Accordingly, he prescribed me some medications and some other necessary advice After the prescription, I had to take medications twice in a day, one in the morning and the remaining one in the night I had to continue the medications for around three consecutive months It is really difficult to have medicines for three months continuously I have tried to give up the medications but found that if I miss a single dose, I am attacked with the allergy So, it was a must for me to take the medicines in time I was worried about the allergy attack when I discovered it Then I had met with several doctors and they asked me to have some blood tests The tests found that the allergy was in my blood which is a serious issue and could be triggered by the slightest favourable environment for allergy When I woke up in the morning and found my lips were doubled in size and shape for allergy, it was horrible for me and I could not go to my college that day It took long times for the allergy to neutralise The days were worst in my life With the grace of Almighty, now the allergy is under control The doctor has advised me to continue the medications for two more months as the allergy in blood, it takes unusual time get controlled Describe a story Due to work, I don’t get enough time to read stories However, recently I read a novel on my sister’s recommendation Though the novel is quite famous and many people know the story, I thought I should read it I wanted to read something to keep myself occupied throughout the lengthy 10-hour flight as I was going on a family holiday My sister was also accompanying me, so she suggested that I read Pride and Prejudice It is quite popular and interesting and almost easily available in every bookstore I followed her advice and purchased one because she is a literature enthusiast and has read almost all classical literature novels The characters are the historical creation of Jane Austen, a British novelist It has an entertaining narrative of love and life in class-conscious late-eighteenth-century England The novel’s plot revolves around Elizabeth Bennet, the daughter of a country gentleman, and Fitzwilliam Darcy, a wealthy aristocratic landowner, and their tumultuous relationship To fall in love and get married, they had to overcome the titular sins of pride and prejudice Although I could not finish the story during my journey, I developed the internet, so I decided to complete the novel during my vacation and eventually, I did When I was in college, I heard about the narrative from a lot of people, but I was not interested in reading it at the time However, after finishing the novel, I resolved to read as many books or stories as I could in my spare time Describe a celebrations would happen there The restaurant serves several dishes including exotic desserts, ice-creams, drinks and food for breakfast and lunch. They brew really good coffee, and the latte is the best and same goes fortheir sandwiches, salads and special soups The restaurant also offers a selection of delicious, gooey home-made cakes However, whenever I eat there, I always order the same thing – scrambled egg on wholemeal toast with mushrooms, because that is what I enjoy the most! I love this restaurant for several reasons The first and also the most significant reason is for their decoration The entire restaurant is charmingly decorated with paintings of international celebrities on the walls and the seating arrangement is superb Moreover, I am also in love with the delicious smoked salmon, the dish that only this restaurant can satisfy me with their outstanding recipe Besides that, the service is also fantastic I used to experience delays and other sorts of problems at other places, which almost never happened here Everything is always in order and I have always been taken care of with excellent customer service Describe an advertisement you remember well  Where you saw it  What it was about  What it was like  and explain why you remember it well  Unilever  Honestly, I am not entirely sure when I first saw this advertisement If I’m not mistaken, it was a couple of years ago when TV commercials were in their prime The advertisement is so memorable that sometimes I still look it up on YouTube to show my students what a good ad looks like  The most interesting thing about this ad is its meaningful message While other commercials at the time tended to be short and focused on humor to attract customers, Unilever paid attention to the content and built a story around Lily, a caring housewife, and Andy, a famous rock star Despite his fame and success, Andy never forgets his family, because deep down he always feels his partner’s love just from the smell of Comfort’s long-lasting freshness The company even created a series of ads, instead of just one, to deliver the message better I think this was a costly but e ffective strategy, as Comfort soon became a household name after this campaign Describe a Live Sports Match that you watched You should say  What it is  When you watched it  How was it  And explain why you liked watching it Well, football is the only sport that I usually watch with my brother I’m terrible at playing football but I love watching a football match Both home and away games cause high levels of emotion in me Today, however, I would like to talk about a match where I did not care about the score There was an occasion a few years ago when I went to watch a football match in a town about half an hour from where I live by bike It was a charity match to collect funds for the local school – and it was very well attended I think there must have been over 5,000 people there, which isn’t bad because there weren’t any star players The atmosphere was so exciting that it encouraged the players a lot as soon as they came into the football pitch with the referee My brother and I were 100 percent focused on the match and provoked the players in two teams for their fair play I am really deep into this football match for a number of reasons Firstly, the players in two teams are not the professors, but they really ensured fair play and no red and yellow cards were released Secondly, because of the charity aim of the match, the ticket fair then was donated for this local school and poor children, so I felt happy to contribute something to help other people In fact, it is the most unforgettable match that I have ever lively watched Describe a school where you studied You should say:  when you went there  how many students studied there  how long you studied there and explain what you liked and disliked about it I would say that if there is one phase of life, which everybody would want to go back to, it had to be the “school life” So, I surely would like to thank you for offering me the opportunity to describe a school which I attended in the past The school, I want to talk about, is a high school in Deptford, London, which I attended from 2007 to 2012 Being located at the heart of one of the best metropolitan cities in the world, this particular state-funded secondary school attracted students, both boys and girls, from all origins and backgrounds as well as from all walks of life However, most of the students in the school came from working-class people It specialized in English literature, Arts, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economic and Drama Back then, it was a five-storey building, with a multi-use games area, a big playground in the front and 150 cycle parking spaces And, of course, it also had a big library and large stadium for Deptford green community leisure Besides, the school also had wireless technology throughout the entire school buildings, a fitness gym, a sound recording studio and radio station, light and spacious classrooms which are 25% larger than statutory regulations, and a tiered seating conference hall with lecture desks which could act as a performance hall If I remember correctly, around 12 hundred students used to attend this great secondary school when I was studying there Anyway, what I really liked about my secondary school was that the teachers were really qualified and very helpful The school management was very friendly also The infrastructure was amazing, and we had our own badminton, basketball and football teams who played really well Besides, there were extra classrooms for community tutoring groups that were accessible for all weak students Finally, I would never forget about the delicious and free bowl of porridge for breakfast which was provided in the mornings, alongside a range of other refreshments However, I didn’t like the school uniform colour which every student needed to wear Describe someting important to you: The desktop computer I own is very important to me I spend almost 6-7 hours on this computer which is even higher than the time I spend with my friends!
