I get presents on both Christmas Day and New Year Day A: Lucky You! Example 2: A: Do you give present to your mother on Mother’s Day? Time Content B CULTURE Success for the Americans and the Vietnamese 1m Task 1: Read the two texts about the American and the Vietnamese ideas of success and answer the questions What is the American idea of success? Who can be considered a successful person in Viet Nam? What are the similarities/ differences between the ideas of success in the two cultures?
