TIGER DRYLAC Quality Control Test instruction Visual evaluation; distribution, surface PA 11 1. Purpose / Target: It is to be judged with this check whether the entire impression of the surface of the coating corresponds to the request. This check is particularly important for effect enamels. 2. Description of the procedure: 2.1) Testing sets: Reference sample for surface and process 2.2) Execution The test board must be cleaned during recognizable pollution before the measurement with a soft cloth. The sample which can be evaluated is compared with the reference samples under a daylight-lamp under different angles. 2.3) Analysis all qualities: The checking board must be free by needle passes, shive, craters and other contamination. With screen printing-able products needle passes are possible, with AGF powders are possible for craters, and therefore no blocking reason. Smooth coatings: The process must be good. Structure coatings: The structure must within area of the reference samples be appropriate Effect coatings: The effect must within area of the reference sample be appropriate. With effects, with which no datum locators are possible must the visual impression correspond. It is only determined whether the coating corresponds to the request or not. If a condition is not fulfilled, then the check with a fresh sample coated board is repeated. 2.4) Release guidelines If fulfilled the request, then the product is to be released regarding this check. If the requests weren’t fulfilled, then the product (whole load) is to be locked provisionally to submit and to the QA for evaluation (in co-operation with the responsible laboratory).
