Aims: To remind the students the simple past tense and give them the use of the simple past tense with “wish”

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to review the simple past tense and use it with “wish” to make desire

1. Set the scene : (pictures)

We are going to use the past tense to write sentences about happened actions and one’s “wish”

2. To Wish :

b. Model sentences: Ex: Lan is not here

 I wish Lan were here Ex: It is hot very today

 We wish it were not very hot today

c. Other verbs:
