Unit 8: OUT AND ABOUT.

LESSON 2: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? (A2, 3)

Aims: To give the students the structure “What + to be + S + doing?”, and give them time to practice speaking skill

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to practice speaking skill with the structure “What + to be + S + doing?”

Grammar: “What + to be + S + doing?”Vocabulary: play shuttle cock, play chess

I. WARMER:

1. Slap the board :

music – book – bus – travel – walk – ride – drive

2. Gap fill : a ……… Book b ……… Car c ……….motorbike d ……….TV

- Controls the game

- Asks the students to come to the board and fill in the gaps

- Play game

15’ II. PRE-SPEAKING:

1. Pre-teach vocabulary :
