1 Hành động có tính tạm thời, không thường xuyên: (today, this week, this year )

- I’m working in New York for a few weeks

2 Khơng dùng với hoạt động nhận thức, tình cảm, tình trạng, sở hữu, tồn tại: see, think, believe, feel, look smell, taste, hear, expect, assume Kế hoạch, xếp cho tương lai gần:

- She is arriving at 11 o’clock

4 Dùng kèm với ALWAYS diễn tả phàn nàn: He is always coming to class late

a.Usage: Dùng để diễn tả hành động diễn thời điểm xác định tại.

Eg1 The children (play) football now./ Eg2 I ( not cook) dinner in the kitchen at the moment Eg3 Lan (write) a letter to her friend now? /Eg4 Mr Nam (run) to the bus station very quickly now

Dùng để diễn tả hành động xảy sẵn tương lai

Eg1 He (come) tomorrow Eg2 They (go) fishing next weekend Dùng với ALWAYS để phàn nàn hành động lặp lặp lại (thường thói quen xấu)

c Spelling- Thông thường ta việc thêm ING vào sau dộng từ thường LEARN - LEARNING + Nếu động từ tận E ta bỏ E thêm ING bt LIVE - LIVING

+ Nếu động từ có âm tiết có tận phụ âm mà trước ngun âm ta phải gấp đôi phụ âm thêm ING.RUN - RUNNING

+ Nếu động từ tận IE ta đỏi IE thành Y thêm ING bt.LIE - LYING

+ Nếu động từ có âm tiết hay nhiều âm tiết có tận phụ âm trước 1 nguyên âm trọng âm rơi vào âm tiết cuối ta phải gấp đơi phụ âm cuối rịi thêm ING bt. FORGET - FORGETTING

- Một số động từ cảm giác, nhận thức, tri giác như: Be, hear, see, understand, know, like, want, glance (Nhìn thoáng qua), feel, think, smell, love, hate, realize, seem, remember, forget, belong to, believe Ta khơng dùng tiếp diễn mà phải dùng đơn để diễn tả d.Adverbs now, right now, at the moment, at this time, at present, Look !, Listen! Be careful!, Hurryup…

2 The present perfect (Thì hồn thành) a Usage.

1.Thì hồn thành diễn tả hđ, sv xảy khứ không rõ thời gian. Eg1 They (meet) that person Eg2 He (lose) his key

2 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv xảy khứ tiếp tục sd với FOR + period of time.

Eg1 I (teach) English at NG secondary school for months Eg2 My father (work) in the factory for 10 years

3 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv xảy thời điểm khứ tiếp tục tại sd với SINCE + point of time.

Eg1 We (study) E since 2005 Eg2 Lan (be) to Kim Lien since yesterday

4 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv vừa xảy dùng với JUST (JUST dùng câu khẳng định đứng HAVE / HAS P2).

Eg1 They just (meet) that person Eg2 Tom just (come) to Hoa’s house

5 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv diễn khoảng thời gian dùng với TODAY, THIS MORNING / MONTH…

6 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv xảy qk thời điểm không rõ ràng với ALREADY (đã rồi) RECENTLY = LATELY (gần đây), BEFORE ( trước kia)

7 Thì HTHT diễn tả hđ, sv chưa diễn dùng với YET (chưa, chưa)

Nếu động từ có âm tiết mà kết thúc phụ âm trước nguyên âm ta phải gấp đội phụ âm thêm ED.STOP - STOPPED

Nếu động từ có hay nhiều âm tiết mà trọng âm rơi vào âm tiết cuối có kết thúc phụ âm trước ngun âm ta phải gấp đội phụ âm thêm ED.PERMIT - PERMITTED Nếu động từ có tận Y có trường hợp sau:

Nếu trước Y nguyên âm ta thêm ED bình thường.STAY - STAYED Nếu trước Y phụ âm ta chuyển Y thành I thêm ED.TRY - TRIED d, Adverbs.

+ ) Diễn tả hđ, sv xảy tương lai với thời gian ddcj xác định bao hàm ý không chắc chắn.

Note: Đối với động từ thường phải lùi lại thì. 3 Xét với động từ khuyết thiếu (modal verb)

Note: Đối với động từ khuyết thiếu ta việc chuyển sang khứ thể đối ngược động từ câu thực tế /Cách lùi động từ câu ước:

A – Xét enough trạng từ Nếu enough trạng từ ln đứng sau tính từ trạng từ khác để bổ nghĩa cho tính từ trạng từ

1 Xét câu chung chủ ngữ.

Eg1 Lan is very clever She can make a shirt > Lan is clever enough to make a shirt Eg2 They aren’t very old They can’t go to school alone

Eg3 Lan works very hard She can pass the exam easily Eg4 They didn’t get up early They couldn’t get the first bus S + (to)be (not) + adj + enough + to – infinitive.

S + V (not) + adv + enough + to – infinitive

Note: Câu bỏ very, too, so, quite có, enough đặt sau tính từ thay cho dấu chấm Câu bỏ chủ ngữ, bỏ trợ động từ (can / can’t / could / couldn’t… ) chọn động từ thêm (to) vào trước

2 Xét câu khác chủ ngữ

Eg1 The ice is quite thick We can walk on it > The ice is thick enough for us to walk on it Eg2 The weather wasn’t very warm They couldn’t go swimming

S + (to)be (not) + adj enough + for + me / us / you / them / him / her / it + to – infinitive Note: Câu bỏ very, too, so, quite có, enough đặt sau tính từ thay cho dấu chấm Câu chủ ngữ chuyển sang làm tân ngữ thêm for vào trước, bỏ trợ động từ , chọn động từ thêm (to) vào trước.

B – Xét Enough tính từ.

Nếu enough I tính từ thường đứng trước danh từ bổ nghĩa cho danh từ. Eg1 I have money I can buy that house /I have enough money to buy that house Eg2 Mai doesn’t have many books She can’t that kind of exercise

S + V + enough + Noun + to – infinitive don’t / doesn’t + V

NGUYÊN TẮC CẦN NHỚ KHI NỐI CÂU DÙNG ENOUGH: - 1)Nguyên tắc thứ nhất:

Nếu trước tính từ ,trạng từ có : too, so, very, quite ,extremely Trước danh từ có many, much, a

lot of, lots of phải bỏ

He is very intelligent He can it ->He is very intelligent enough to it (sai)

->He is intelligent enough to it.(đúng)

He has a lot of money He can buy a car >He has enough a lot of money to buy a car.(sai) ->He has enough money to buy acar.(đúng)

- 2) Nguyên tắc thứ hai:Nếu chủ từ hai câu giống bỏ phần for sb ex:Tom is strong He can lift the box ->Tom is strong enough for him to lift the box.(sai)

->Tom is strong enough to lift the box.(đúng)

The weather is fine Mary and her little brother can go to school

->The weather is fine enough to go to school.(sai)

->The weather is fine enough for Mary and her little brother to go to school.(đúng) Tuy nhiên chủ từ câu sau có ý chung chung bỏ

ex:The sun is not warm We can't live on it

->The sun is not warm enough to live on.(we chung chung, người)

Nếu chủ từ câu đầu túc từ câu sau phải bỏ túc từ câu sau ex:The water is quite warm I can drink it ->The water is warm enough for me to drink it.(sai) ->The water is warm enough for me to drink .(đúng) 2 Xét câu khác chủ ngữ

S + V + too + adv + for + (me / us / you / them / him / her ) + to – infinitive Note: Câu bỏ very, so, quite, rather có thay too Thêm for vào dấu chấm

Câu chủ ngữ chuyển sang làm tân ngữ đặt sau For., bỏ trợ động từ (can’t / couldn’t… ) chọn động từ thêm (to) vào trước

*3 NGUYÊN TẮC CẦN NHỚ KHI NỐI CÂU DÙNG TOO TO Cũng giống enough, too to có nguyên tắc sau

IV: Các bước chuyển sang câu bị dộng

Bc1.Xác định thành phần câu: S, V, O, ADV OF FRE, ADV OF PLACE, ADV OF TIME(nếu có)

Bc2 Chuyển O câu chủ động sang làm S câu bị động (nếu ME – I, US – WE, YOU – YOU, THEM – THEY, HIM – HE, HER – SHE, IT - IT).

Bc3 Xác định xem động từ câu chủ động thì mượn động từ (to) be tương ững với chủ ngữ Động từ chuyển sang QKPT Bc4 Chuyển S câu chủ động sang làm O câu bị động xảy trường hợp sau.

Trường hợp Nếu S đại từ nhân xưng (I, WE, YOU, THEY, HE, SHE, IT, SOMEONE, SOMEBODY, SOMETHING, EVERYONE, EVERYBODY, EVERYTHING, PEOPLE) bỏ đi không cần dùng BY.

Trường hợp Nếu chủ ngữ danh từ riêng, chức danh nghề nghiệp dung BY +DTR / CDNN đó.

Trường hợp Nếu S O đối tượng mà có sd ĐTSH có DT kèm theo (HIS, HER, THEIR) chuyển lên làm S phải thay ĐTSH + DTR’s.

Trường hợp Nếu S NOONE, NOBODY, NOTHING trợ động từ mượn vào câu bị động phải chuyển sang phủ định.

* Khi câu chủ động có loại O O người gọi O gián tiếp (indirect object), O chỉ vật O trực tiếp (direct object) ta cá cách chuyển sau:C1.Ta thường chuyển O gián tiếp lên làm S câu bị động, làm bình thường.

C2 Nếu O trực tiếp lên làm S sau QKPT số động từ sau phải có TO đến O gián tiếp.

Notes: 1.Nếu phần trần thuật khẳng định phần phủ định ngược lại.

2 Nếu động phần trần thuật nào, dạng (to be, V, M.V) phần mượn trợ động từ khẳng định hay phủ định đó, dạng đó. Phần dạng phủ định thì thường rút gọn (n’t) Nếu khơng rút gọn phải theo thứ tự: auxiliary + subject + not?

3 Nếu phần trần thuật chứa từ: seldom, rarely, hardly, no, without, never trợ động từ ở phần đuô dạng xác định.

7) Câu đầu có MUST: /Must có nhiều cách dùng tùy theo cách dùng mà có câu hỏi

2) Cách khắc phục lỗi này: Nếu nhìn thấy phía sau có p.p ( động từ cột thêm ed) nên xem lại khơng phải câu bị động 's has
