II WARM UP (5 mins) Guessing game:

- T elicits words from sts

E.g: a class, a school, a teacher, a desk.

- T asks sts to chose one of them and write it down on a piece of paper and keep it secrete

- T calls one st to the front of the class and the other sts must ask questions to guess the word The st who guesses correctly is the next one up

E.g: Is that your school? Yes, it is / No, it isn’t.

III NEW LESSON

Step : Presentation (10’) Activity 1: Pre teach

- T uses pictures to elicit and practice spelling the vocabulary

Look at the pictures/real things and give the meanings

Listen ,Repeat Copy

* Check vocab: Matching Activity Model sent Yes, this is my desk? Yes, that’s my teacher?

? Is this your desk? ? Is that your teacher?

Step 2: Practice (15’)

 Picture drill : C (P.28)

Gets Ss to look at the pictures and answer the questions using the structure above

Ss work in pair Wordsquare:

2.Practice

- Put a poster of word square on the board and inform the topic “Things in the classroom” - Divide the class into teams

- Ask Ss to find out hidden words and circle the words they can see

- Team A uses yellow chalk and team B uses red chalk

- The team that finds out more correct words wins the game

- Praise the winner *Make questions: 1.Her name is Hong

5 My school is on Cau Giay Street Step : Further Practice (10’) Lucky numbers

- Divide the class into teams A-B

Each team has right to choose a number If the number they choose is unlucky, they have to answer a question They will get marks if their answer is right

If the number they choose is lucky, they will get marks and have right to choose another number - The team that gets more marks wins the game - Praise the winner
