By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Ask and answer about the weather

- Talk about what weather they like

Knowledge: - practice "What weather you like?" to talk about your favorite weather and contrast it with "What's the weather like?"

- Write 10 words about the weather on the board

-Ask students to choose any five words and copy them into their notebooks - Read the words on the board - Choose any four words - Listen to the teacher and

put ticks next to the words that they listen to

Step1 Presentation: (15 minutes) Activity 1: Set the scene:

How you feel when it’s cool? - Present the text A3- P 135 - Introduce the model sentences -What weather you like? I like hot weather.

-What weather does she like? She likes cool weather. Activity 2.Practice: Picture drill

Run through the pictures

- Hold up the first picture and say the model sentences:

Summer , cool, winter, cold, fall

Warm spring, hot, weather, season

I Structure:

- What weather you like? - I like hot weather

II Practice:

-What weather you like? I likehot weather

- Do the same for the seccond picture - Correct their mistakes

Look at the pictures - Listen to the teacher

- Repeat it chorally and then individually - Make the sentence for themselves - Practice in pairs

Step 2.Reading(15 minutes) Act 1: Predict

- Set the scene: You are going to read a short passage about Ba Guess what Ba does in different weather (hot, cold, cool and warm)

Listen to the teacher

- Guess what Ba does in different weather

Act Read and check

- Let students read the text themselves - Ask some students some questions and let them answer loudly

- Point to the questions and get students to isolate the model sentences
