Module 3, “Designing a Software Distribution and Management Strategy,” describes current strategies for software distribution and management. Topics include identifying and assessing specific options. Module 4, “Designing a User Data Management Strategy,” discusses various options for managing user data. Topics include workstation scenarios and assessment of options. Module 5, “Designing a User Settings Management Strategy,” describes how user settings fit into change and configuration management. Topics include assessing options and selecting those that are most appropriate to meet the organizational requirements. Module 6, “Designing a Computer Management Strategy,” describes options for managing the computer resources in an organization. Strategies for implementing a change and configuration model are discussed. Module 7, “Using Group Policy to Design a CCM Solution,” describes common designs for Group Policy by providing some scenarios. It also defines best practices and describes how to determine Group Policy design through analysis of the organization’s business needs.
