Yongsoo Ha, Director of Academic Computing and Law School Systems, wanted to make sure the latest CUNY data cabling installation would support the University’s future needs. Tools for Education The computer age and the Internet have radically changed the college experience in the past few years. Virtual classrooms (including on-line registration, lebrary access and report cards), quizzes over the Internet and networked dormitory rooms are just a few examples of how colleges and universities have leveraged technology to both enhance the learning experience and create efficient academic administration. To provide such services, CUNY needed to ensure that the infrastructure would be able to support such diverse and demanding applications.
