Unfortunately not much of it really exists in the last mile. T1s and E1s are still the primary mode of transport for a majority of locations. So how do you provide economical business-class Ethernet services to your off-net customer locations that can only be reached through T1s or E1s? The LoopStar 714 and LoopStar 718 are tailored to help service providers reach their off-net customers and reduce service fees at the same time. The LoopStar 714 offers highly manageable 10/100 customer access and up to four T1/E1s (eight T1/E1s for the LoopStar 718) for the network connection. These T1/E1s are bonded using the standard Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP), offering up to 12 Mb/s (T1) or 16 Mb/s (E1) of service. Additional lines can be added as necessary, and with a simple-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI), provisioning new circuits has never been easier. And the LoopStar products come equipped with LoopStar 700 intelligent management, designed to support remote service provisioning, verification, and troubleshooting.
