Phần A: ĐỘNG TỪ ĐẶC BIỆTgồm:

1) Đợng từ như: IS , AM , ARE , WAS, WERE.

2) Động từ khiếm khuyết: CAN; COULD; SHALL; SHOULD; WILL; WOULD; MAY; MIGHT; MUST; HAD TO; OUGHT TO; (NEED; DARE thỉnh thoảng động từ đặc biệt); HAD BETTER; WOULD RATHER;

Ghi nhớ: Theo sau động từ khiếm khuyết V0.

3) Các trợ động từ( Auxillary verbs) như: DO; DOES; DID (sau từ phải có V0 khơng có V0

thì động từ động từ thường)

Như vậy, động từ không giống với động từ đươv5 liệt kê bên điều động từ thường.

I: CÂU KHẲNG ĐỊNH đổi sang CÂU PHỦ ĐỊNH NGHI VẤN ở (tense) động từ, có sẵn động từ đặc biệt ta:

1) Chỉ cần thêm NOT vào sau động từ đặc biệt để phủ định

Examples: They havelived in Paris for ten years ( Họ sống Ba Lê mười năm ) They havenotlived in Paris for ten years ( Họ không sống Ba Lê mười năm )

2) Đem đặt động từ đặc biệt trước chủ từ để tạo thành câu nghi vấn HOẶC tạo thành câu viết dạng đảo ngữ

Examples: They havelived in Paris for ten years ( Họ đãsống Ba Lê mười năm ) Have they lived in Paris for ten years? ( Họ đãsống Ba Lê mười năm hả? ) II: CÂU KHẲNG ĐỊNH đổi sang câu PHỦ ĐỊNH NGHI VẤN khơng có sẵn động từ đặc biệt

thì ta mượn trợ động từ thích hợp để đổi Cách làm hướng dẫn sau đây:
