1 For Adjectives of one Syllable, add er + than Nice- Nicer Tall- Taller
Example: Jamie is taller than Amina
USE:

2 For most adjectives with two syllables, and all adjectives with
three syllables or more , put more in front of the adjective (more + adjective+ than)
expensive = more expensive
Example : A computer is more expensive than a typewriter

Example: Happy = Happier and Easy =Easier
5 Be careful with short adjectives that end in vowel + consonant When you hear the consonant, double the last letter than add er
