Động từ “Wish” ( ớc ao, mong ớc) thờng dùng để diễn tả nhứng ớc muốn, điều khơng có thật khó thực
I/ Future wish: ( íc muèn ë t¬ng lai )
Would + Bare infinitive Ex: I wish I would go to the moon tomorrow
My mother wishes she would visit London some days II/ Present wish: ( íc mn ë hiƯn t¹i )
Past subjunctive Ex: I wish I were at the seaside now
He wishes he could speak English fluently III/ Past wish: ( íc mn ë qu¸ khø )
Past perfect
Ex: I wish I had gone to the movies last night
Tom wishes he had followed the doctor’s advice when he was in hospital
