(1)Pre : 09.10.2012 Tea: 15.10.2012 UNIT 4: SPECIAL EDUCATION Lesson 2: B/SPEAKING Week: Syllable Period: 23 I OBJECTIVES: Education aim: Students can ask and answer about the information at school and talk about your own study and the others Knowledge: - General knowledge: Ask and answer about the information at school - Language: Sentences related to study at school Asking and answering questions about your own study and the others Skills: Fluency in greeting Role- playing II METHOD: Mainly communicative III TEACHING AIDS: Extra board IV PROCEDURE: Class organization:  Greeting  Checking the attendance Check up:(7’) T calls on one student to go to the board to write some new word and answer the following questions New words: tàn tật, nhẩm (thiểu trí tuệ), học hành đầy đủ, nổ lực, Questions: -What are the differences of Thuy’s class with other classes? -Is teaching in special class a difficult and time-consuming process? * Expected Answers New words: disabled (a), mentally retarded (a), proper schooling (n), make effort (v), gradually (adv) Questions: -The twenty-five children are disabled, deaf, dumb, and mentally retarded -Yes, it is Presenting the new lesson: Contents Teacher’s & Students’ activities I WARM-UP: (5’) - What are your favorite subjects?
