1 Look, listen and repeat
- Ask pupils the names of the characters and where they are: Linda, Mai and her mother
- Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen
- Play the recording again for pupils to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles - Repeat the step a few times

- Have pupils look at the poster with the content of part (sts’ book – Page 22) - Tell them they are going to learn how to pronoun the sound /f/ and /sh/ with different words.
- Produce the sound /f/ in beef, leaf, sound /sh/ in fish and dish a few times. Ask pupils to say what they think about when they hear the sound
- Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line in the speech bubbles to reinforce their pronunciation
- Give the notes how to pronoun /f/ and /sh/ in different words 2 Listen and tick Then write and say aloud
- Have pupils look and read the uncompleted sentences given.
- Tell the pupils that they are going to listen to sentences and tick the words they hear to fill in the gaps
- Play the recording twice for pupils listen and repeat - Compare the answers with the partner
