(1)Planning date:3/7/2008 Teaching date:5/7/2008 Period :8 Class :10A Total time :45 minutes Teacher : Dương Văn Quyền Unit : School talks Lesson 3: Listening * Intruction I am Quyen, the full name is: Duong Van Quyen Today I am going to have a lessson th for 10 grade in Chilang high school All my students are around 16 years old Some are 17 and some even 18 years old * There are some advantages and disadvatages teaching here * Ads: Most of pupils are very good, hard-working, they are aware of the importance of their work and study They are eager to study to get more knowlegde * Disads: Some students are not aware of the importance of their study They are very lazy , don't prepare new lesson or learn old lesson before going to class - they live far from school, which is very difficult for them to go to school everyday -some of them live in ethnic minoraty so the standard of living is very hard and they are feel shy, ashame or not feel confident .when they learn English as well as pratise speaking it I Aims - Help ps listen to understand some small coversation and some applying exercises Through this lesson ps will improve listening skill, enlarge vocabularies and by the end of this lesson ps can make small conversation about their school, their dailylife and other topics II Language content Grammar structure: Some W- H questions Eg: who, which, which Lexical items: semester(n)= term(n) Plan(v) III Teaching methods: - Integrated methods such as pair/ group work, communicative method IV Teaching aids -Books, cassettles, tape, other objects V Procedure Time 3' Teacher's activities Learners'activities * Warm up T give some questionsto warm class - answer T's questions Lop11.com (2) up eg: Do you like to go to school? - Which class are you in this year? - Which subjects you like best - Why you like these subjects? - Do you work very well at school?
