UNIT 12: THIS IS MY HOUSE LESSON : PART 1,2,3

Class : 4A, 4B

Date of teaching : 17/2, 19/2/2017

I Aim: By the end of the lesson,Ss will be able to practice asking and answering the question about the facilities

II.Language contents:

- Teaching aids: Cassette, pictures, extra paper V.Procedure:

1 Warm-up:( minutes)

- Have Ss to ask and answer about their house facilities by using the pictures of their house

2 Presentation:(10 minutes). @ T explain the new words

1- Listen and repeat.

- Tell Ss to practice saying the sounds of the letters /ch/ and /th/ in the words kichen and bathroom respectively in the sentences: This is the kitchen./ Is there a bathroom?

- Put the letters /ch/ and /th/ on the board - Play the CD and have Ss repeat a few time

- Write the words kichen and bathroom and the sentences: “This is the kitchen./ Is there a bathroom?” on the board

- Check as a class and correct the pronunciation 2 Listen and write

- Tell Ss to listen the recording and then write the words in the blanks
