Cấu trúc tính từ ghép trong tiếng anh được tạo ra bằng cách ghép tính từ với tính từ, danh từ với tính từ, hay thậm chí với phân từ.. Dưới đây là các loại tính từ ghép phổ biến trong ti[r]
(1)TỪ LOẠI TIẾNG ANH: TÍNH TỪ GHÉP
1 Tính từ ghép gì?
Tính từ ghép (Compound adjective) tính từ gồm nhiều từ khác nhau, liên kết với dấu gạch nối (-) Chúng dùng để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ ln đứng trước danh từ
Ví dụ:
hand-made (làm tay) => hand-made gift well-known (nổi tiếng) => well-known artist long-lasting (lâu dài) => long-lasting relationship 2 Cách thành lập tính từ ghép

a Tính từ + Tính từ
I will follow the north-west direction (Tơi theo hướng dẫn phía tây bắc) She has the blue-black eyes (Cơ có đơi mắt màu xanh đen)
Just look at the top - right corner of the TV (Hãy nhìn vào góc phải hình TV) b Tính từ + Danh từ
Do you know this red-carpet even? (Anh có biết đến kiện rải thảm đỏ khơng) It’s a deep-sea treasure (Nó kho báu biển sâu)
(2) I hate sitting in the ice-cold room like this (Tôi ghét ngồi phòng lạnh đá này)
She has a snow-white skin (Cơ có da trắng tuyết)
Do you have any sugar-free cupcakes? (Chú có bánh khơng đường không?)
d Quá khứ phân từ + danh từ/tính từ/trạng từ (mang nghĩa bị động) - Với trạng từ
Son Tung MTP singer is very well-known (Ca sĩ Sơn Tùng MTP tiếng, nhiều người biết đến)
Don’t worry! The company is now running like a well-oiled machine (Đừng lo lắng, công ty vận hành trơn ru máy tra dầu)
- Với tính từ
Let’s go to the supermarket! We can have some ready-made food there (Tới siêu thị Chúng ta chọn vài ăn làm sẵn đó)
Tom is a full-grown kid (Tom đứa trẻ phát triển đầy đủ) - Với danh từ
This is the hand-made gift (Đây quà làm thủ công)
My husband gave me these silver-palted earings (Chồng tặng đôi tai mạ bạc này)
e Hiện phân từ + danh từ/tính từ/trạng từ (mang nghĩa chủ động) - Với tính từ
He is a good-looking guy (Anh gã đẹp trai)

“Father and daughter is one of the most heart-breaking movies I’ve ever seen (Cha gái phim cảm động xem)
There are some top-ranking songs you might want to hear (Có vài hát xếp hạng đầu mà em muốn nghe đó)
- Với trạng từ
We need a forward-thinking leader for this position (Chúng ta cần người lãnh đạo biết nhìn xa trơng rộng cho vị trí này)
f Từ số lượng + Danh từ
You’re sitting under the 100-year tree (Cậu ngồi 100 tuổi đó)
Can you carry a fifty-kilo box to the 3rd floor? (Anh bưng hộp 50 kg lên lầu không vậy?)
My 13-year-old son is the best student in class (Đứa trai 13 tuổi học sinh giỏi lớp)
