- Brainstorm: Names of clothes 0r Network

Go to the board and write the words of clothings Divides class into teams, Ss from each team go to the board and write the relative words to clothings The team which write more words in limited time is the winner

III New lesson

Step 1: Pre-listening (12’) Act Vocab:

Listen and guess the the meanings of the words from T's eliciting

Repeat in chorus then individually Go to the board and rewrite the vocabs

Check: R.O.R

Act Prediction

Ask students to look at the pictures on page 16 and answer the following questions

- Ss look at the pictures (Listen a - c P.16) answer questions about the clothes or shoes

- Set the scene : You will hear an announcement about a missing little girl called Mary

- Ask Ss to guess which clothes was May wearing ( ss choose A, B, C on p.16 )

- T calls some Ss to write their answers on the board and gives key to check

Step 2: While-listening (17’) Act Check the prediction

ask ss to listen and correct the prediction -Ss: Listen to the tape to check the answers

Now you listen to the tape again and check the letter of the correct picture to show what Mary is wearing

Act Check understanding -listen again and answer the qs

1 How old is Mary? ~ What color is her hair? What is she wearing?

Step 3: Post-listening (8’) Mapped dialogue

set the sence: this is the interview between a policeman and May,s father

Put the mapped dialogue chart on the board Elicit the exchanges from ss

Have some pairs practice each change before going on to another exchangez

- after finishing the dialogue ask a good pair to demonstrate the whole dialogue

IV: Summary (2’)

Teacher summarizes the whole lesson and emphasizes on the important points
