Lesson 3: Part 4,5 I Aims.
1/Knowledge.
- By the end of the lesson , students will be able to practise the sound of the letter Cc and the coresponding words
- Learn and practise reading skills and sing a song
Vocabulary: cat, clock, carrot Sight words: I ,am ,a,on,with
2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude.
- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends - Students love animals with the letter c II.Teaching aids:
T: teachers’ book, , CD, phonics cards ,paper including the lyrics of the chant Ss: Student’s book, colour Activity book.

2.Warm up ( 5’)
Ask ss to name the letter and say the sound of letter
- Put up the card on board T calls the letter and ask Ss to mine the action and say the sound
3 New lesson ( 30’ )

-Ask ss to point letter /k/ in the word ant and point to the picture of cat Do the same with
clock and carrot.
-Ask ss to listen the story and point to the picture of key words when they hear them in the story
- Ss: listen and repeat - Ss: work individually
- Ss work in pairs ,one read and one check - Correct their mistakes
- Ask ss point to the sight word.Ss listen and repeat and read aloud
(2)* Activity (10’)
- Put up the cat ,clock,carrot phonics card on board
- Ask ss to point the clock and say tickety
,tickety, tock-Do the same with the rest of the
song
- Play the CD and ask Ss to listen and sing - Ss: listen and repeat
- Ss: work individually and pairs
- Ask ss to take out the cat,clock,carrot picture cards and put them on the desk - Play the CD and ask Ss listen and hold up the corresponding card
- Ss: work in groups - Corrects
*Activity : Write the words (6’) - Ss write the words they’ve learnt in the lesson
- Calls some Ss go to the board and write down

- Ss sit in a circle and hands out the phonic card
- Play the song Ss pass the phonic cards around when the song stop, S who’s hole the phonic card must read aloud the name of phonics card
- Ss: work in groups - Corrects
III.Consolidation.(1’)
- T asks whole class to read aloud the letter
