UNIT : A VISIT FROM A PENPAL A PAST SIMPLE TENSE :

1 Caùch chia:

a Đối với động từ có quy tắc: V + ed

+ Nếu động từ tận –e, cần thêm d:

Bake – baked / race – raced / trade – traded + Nếu động từ tận phụ âm + y, đổi y thành i, thêm ed :

Dry – dried / bury – burried (Nhöng stay – stayed/ enjoy – enjoyed )

+ Nếu động từ tận nguyên âm đơn + phụ âm, gấp đôi phụ âm cuối thêm ed :

Shop – shopped / wrap – wrapped / plan – planned

+ Nếu động từ có hai vần trở lên, tận nguyên âm đơn + phụ âm, có dấu nhấn trên vần cuối cùng, gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước thêm ed Không gấp đôi phụ âm cuối cùng dấu nhấn không rơi vào âm cuối cùng.
