and cuttingedge Japanese technology, Urusara offers outstanding energy efficiency It also represents the next step in efforts to reduce environmental impact SEVEN BENEFITS OF URUSARA Benefit 1: Energy savings Urusara achieves high CSPF of 6.29 to 7.04 during cooling operation thanks to DAIKIN’s combined energy-saving technologies and DC Inverter Power Control Benefit 2: Next-Generation Refrigerant Urusara is the world’s first air conditioner to use R-32 refrigerant R-32 has zero ozone-layer depletion and reduces the global warming potential by 70% compared to R-22 or R-410A The potential refrigeration capacity of R-32 is 1.6 times higher than R-22 or R-410A With its operational efficiency and use of R-32 refrigerant, Urusara represents the next step in addressing climate change Benefit 3: Humidity Control By controlling humidity as well as temperature, Urusara provides dehumidifying choices like you have never experienced before Selecting dehumidifying allows you to feel cool, helping to save power Urusara lets you adjust the dehumidifying volume from low to high to achieve consistent comfort At night on rainy days, the humidity can leave you feeling hot even though the temperature is relatively low However, using the air conditioner with conventional dry mode leads to overcooling Sarara Dry Operation maintains comfort levels by premixing the dehumidified air with room air to stabilize the temperature Benefit 4: Airflow Control Urusara circulates airflow and prevents temperature fluctuations even in large spaces Daikin’s original Coanda mechanism and Double Air Intake rapidly make even the corners of a large room feel comfortable Benefit 5: Designed in Japan Urusara has been praised for its innovative design inspired by the Japanese “ogi” folding fan Benefit 6: Air Purification Streamer discharge decomposes bacteria and mould adsorbed on the filter by irradiating them with an advanced plasma electric discharge It provides highly effective oxidative decomposition Benefit 7: Automatic Filter Cleaning After operation stops, Cleaning Filter Operation automatically brushes dust off the prefilter and collects it in a box This helps to maintain filter performance and energy efficiency 29 | P a g e GREEN PRODUCTS OF HCMUTE ECO-FRIENDLY INTERIOR-DECORATING PRODUCTS FROM CORRUGATED CARDBOARD Corrugated cardboard with linear outer layers and a medium corrugated layer for each sheet is produced from recycled paper only Therefore, products made of this material require a minimum amount of natural resources in comparison to those made of wood or plastic The cardboard can also be recycled many times to create new sheets of cardboard and thus, fulfill well the recyclability standard of materials, which is a more and more important criterion of material selection of manufacturers In addition, patterns and images can be printed easily on surfaces of the cardboard Its products can be utilized as decorations for advertisement, fairs, stages, etc Thin sheets can be used to build blocks and are foldable allowing efficient transport of goods From our trial production, totally 30 samples divided into categories have been created: domestic furniture, exhibiting shelves, letter’s cutouts The samples have various types of structures and assembling methods Multifunctional Bed Exhibiting Shelves Letter's cutouts Domestic Furniture Foldable Shelves 30 | P a g e Laboratory Profile Energy and Environment Lab (EEL) has been established by the group of professors from Mechanical, Environmental and Biological field in Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) The aims of EEL are designing and manufacturing automotive machines to ensure social environment Prestige, responsibility and service style of EEL will bring the best research products to serve our customers EEL is pioneer in study and application of plasma dynamic technology-a green technology in wastewater, drinking water, release gas, sterilizing air, and surface treatment and is gradually become the sustainable development Lab Our motto is CES (Creativity, Environment and Service) We always listen to customer opinions, advice caring and sharing experience working with customers Plasma treatment method Treatment mechanism of cold plasma system is based on the dynamics of electrons, ions and advanced oxidation process In plasma reactor, the ionic bonds, covalent linking of organic and inorganic compounds is broken and destroys by UV rays and free radicals Moreover, electrons move with high velocity will bump into molecules to disrupt the electron, ion link and increase surface energy The coating material was also injected to make a nano layer on surface with (a) 5m3/day (b) 15m3/day chemical connection By these processes, Fig Wastewater treatment machine treated objectives are clean, active and coated Production The following are some products of EEL  Wastewater treatment machine: Wastewater from hospital and textile company has been strongly negative affecting to human life in large area The disadvantages of the currently treatment system are low treatment efficiency, costly and unstable due to using microbiological, biochemistry, combining physics and chemistry method, or advanced oxidation process The treatment wastewater machine (a) Bottle packed, 10m3/day (b) Refill station using plasma at atmospheric pressure as shown 5000Persons/day in figure can solve the above disadvantages The treated wastewater reaches to B-QCVN Fig.2 Drinking water treatment machine 28:2010 standards This method also is used for treatment drinking water as show in Fig  Air sterilizing machine: Same as wastewater, air pollution from microorganisms at hospital, schools, public area and industrial packing food is causing urgent problems, affecting human health and against food preservation and difficult to solve The air sterilizing machine using cold plasma at atmospheric pressure can solve above problems (a) 0.6m wide (b) 1.8m wide The sterilization efficiency is about 87% and the Fig Nano coating machine all treated room reach to level B in standard clean room under GMP  Nano-coating machine: Current surface treatment methods such as cleaning, increasing absorption and coating not meet the quality requirements because of the use of chemicals, complexity, high costs and pollution to environment To solve these drawbacks, the coating machines by cold plasma as shown in Figure have been developed In the plasma, surface is clean, high energy and coated by a nano-layer Successfully applied coating fabrics are waterproof and anti-bacterial coating 31 | P a g e Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Vietnam National Institute of Solar Energy, MNRE, India National
