JOB DESCRIPTION SHEET Job Title: QA Manager Department: Quality Assurance Reporting to: (Direct Superior) Senior QA Manager Responsible for: (Dept./Div./Subordinates) QA Dept Position Summary: This position performs:  Planning, coordinating, and directing with all quality control and assurance program which is design to ensure continuous improvement toward quality excellence of the products with established standards and procedure  Developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy for finished product  Ensuring continuous control over materials, facilities, and products  Planning to promote and organizing training activities related to product quality and reliability The work requires knowledge of the policies, procedures, regulations of quality control work, technical skills/techniques, personnel policies and procedures Job Duties and Responsibilities: - - - Champion the implementation of environment, health, safety and security programs and activities to ensure the active participation of the department and/or assigned committee to achieve a safe, secure, clean and healthful work environment for all employees at all times Champion the implementation of all management systems and quality initiatives of the company Take responsibility in complying with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Discipline Assist in any programs designed to improve quality and efficiency of the operational processes as well as to reduce costs Propose and assist in developing, controlling and implementing cost effective systems of control over such activities as operating expenditures, manpower, salaries, wages and overtime Coordinate annual internal and external audits Ensure that all documentation meets audit requirements Monitor all quality control activities of the factories specifically on the implementation and evaluation of all quality control and assurance systems and procedures, manpower requirements planning/inventory and upgrading of working procedures based on buyer’s demands and specification Monitor and evaluate/analyze monthly quality statistic performance for QC dept Generate CAP upon buyers request and for any internal references pertaining to quality improvements Monitor and achieve monthly budget Ensure all QA Dept KPI/Targets are met Standardize all QC/QA Process for all factory including forms Formulate systems, procedure for quality improvements especially on Right the First time - Serves as a one of the window between the factories and the Buyers regarding quality issues and concerns Review and approve all material quality and products issues Follow-up Final Inspection Respond immediately upon receipt of Buyers comments and update in order to avoid rejection Impart knowledge and train QCs, QC Managers and CFAs in terms of product characteristics, attributes and Quality Control checking/testing based on the current standard/procedures Advise and facilitate meeting/schedule for training needed for the improvement and implementation of new systems and buyers updates Conduct meeting to all QC Team Leaders, CFAs and QC Supervisors to discuss updates and quality issues Actively participate in company’s drive for Continuous Improvement in all its business processes Take an active role in building up good relationship with the community, civic and business organizations Perform other functions that may be assigned for the achievement of the department and company goals Key Competencies Requirements: - Project management, analytical and problem solving skills Excellent team management, work allocation and leadership skills Great sense of responsibility and timeliness Good work attitude Reliable and trustworthy Proactive and diligent Good teamwork and communication Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalence years’ relevant experience at the same position in garment industry Fluent in written and verbal English Good understanding of the industry and business needs .. .- Serves as a one of the window between the factories and the Buyers regarding quality issues and concerns Review and approve all material quality and products issues Follow-up Final... receipt of Buyers comments and update in order to avoid rejection Impart knowledge and train QCs, QC Managers and CFAs in terms of product characteristics, attributes and Quality Control checking/testing... assigned for the achievement of the department and company goals Key Competencies Requirements: - Project management, analytical and problem solving skills Excellent team management, work allocation
