Objectives : By the end of the lesson, Sts will be able to use “ Used to” to talk about the things they used to do. I. Attitude: Educate students to remember about our past. II. Preparations : Teacher:Textbook, pictures, poster. cassette. Warm-up/5’tw Pre-speaking:10’gw T uses two books of English. One is the old book, and the other is new. Sts remark the changes such as black, and white pictures with colorful ones. A long and boring with an interesting and practical one. Sts find the differences between them. Some presenters describe them in volunteer. The winner is the one describe more exactly. 2. While-speaking:15’pw Get Sts work in open pairs then closed pairs. Compare 2 pictures on page 40, using “Used to” to talk about the actions in the past. Sts work in pairs 1. Work with a partner. Knowledge; Vocabulary: foolish, greedy, gold,lay. - Language Past simple. simple present. S + used to + V-inf. 2.Skills: listen and speak 3. Attitude: Educate Sts not to be foolish and greedy. II. Preparations : Teacher:Textbook, pictures, poster. cassette. Students:book,notebook, III.anticipated problems : talk about the activities which people used to do in the past. IV.procedures Teacher and Sts’ activities Board 1. Warm-up:5’gw (Pelmanism) T prepares eleven cards with numbers on one side and the verbs on the other.
