Being an I.T Trainer in LP4Y JOB DESCRIPTION LP4Y general information LIFE PROJECT 4 YOUTH FOUNDATION INC. (“LP4Y”) is an international non governmental organization ( INGO ) registered in Vietnam under the number 254/CNV- HĐ. LP4Y accompany the youths who are suffering from exclusion or extreme poverty in the social and professional integration. The excluded youths are welcomed in this center to learn and develop the necessary skills toward their professional integration. 50% of their time is dedicated to working in the micro-economic activity, 30% is dedicated to learning IT, English and general knowledge and 20% is dedicated to receiving guidance and personal development sessions from the coach. Regarding the learning part (IT, English and general knowledge) LP4Y recruits external volunteers called “trainers”. The trainers work as part time volunteer on giving IT, English or general knowledge lessons during 4 hours each week, either on Tuesday afternoon or on Thursday morning. Currently, we are looking for 4 IT trainers. You will find more details about this position is below. IT Trainers The IT trainers can share with the youths their knowledge and skills, focusing on basic IT skills such as : Word office, Excel, powerpoint, Internet tool search, basic design, Mailing, Social Networks management, etc The aim of this training activity is providing the youth a chance to learn and practice the IT skills that they might have to use in their future job. The goal of the Professional Training for Entrepreneurs is that the Youth integrate the social and professional environment after graduation. The I.T trainers will help them towards this project by providing them their time, support and knowledge. IT trainers have a role of model for the youths. Their mission is to give and share knowledge, but also create passions, develop interest and help the youth to gain confidence.
