for users of the World Development Indicators database, book, and mobile app The database, which covers more than 1,300 indicators and spans more than 50 years, is available at data.worldbank.org The 214 country tables in The Little Data Book present the latest available data for World Bank member countries and other economies with populations of more than 30,000 The 14 summary tables cover regional and income group aggregates For more information about these data or other World Bank data publications, visit our data Web site at data.worldbank.org, e-mail us at data@worldbank org, call our data hotline 800 590 1906 or 202 473 7824, or fax us at 202 522 1498 To order World Development Indicators 2015, visit the publications Web site at www.worldbank.org/publications, call 800 645 glossary • Growth rates are proportional changes from the previous year unless otherwise noted • Regional aggregates include data for low- and middle-income economies only • Figures in italics indicate data for years or periods other than those specified Symbols used: indicates that data are not available or that aggregates cannot be calculated because of missing data or 0.0 indicates zero or small enough that the number would round to zero at the displayed number of decimal places $ indicates current U.S dollars Lettered notes on some country tables can be found in the notes on page 232 Data are shown for economies with populations greater than 30,000 or for smaller economies if they are members of the World Bank The term country (used interchangeably with economy) does not imply political independence or official recognition by the World Bank but refers to any economy for which the authorities report separate social or economic statistics The selection of indicators in these pages includes some of those being used to monitor progress toward the Millennium Development Goals For more information about the eight goals—halving poverty and increasing well-being by 2015—please see the other books in the World Development Indicators 2015 family of products The cutoff date for data is February 1, 2015 vi 2015 The Little Data Book Regional tables The country composition of
