Trang 4INSTALLATION TIPS
Improper installation of the machine may result in noise, water leaks and failure to complete the wash cycle
The following items are important considerations when installing the machine:
• Washing machine installation An unstable installation or tilted installation may result in vibration, noise,
or failure to complete the cycle
• Drain hose installation If the drain hose comes in contact with the internal mechanism of the
washing machine, it may damage the drain hose or make noise
• Water supply hose connection 1 The center of the water tap and the hose connector must be
aligned, or the water may leak
2 Insert the ends of the supply water hoses firmly into the water tap connector and the washing machine inlet, or the water may leak
(1) INSTALLATION
1 Make sure the washing machine is level.
Warning
Do not install your washer in the bathroom or outdoors as exposed to sun or rain.
Avoid installing where fear of accident, fire, trouble, etc may occur
as well as direct sunlight which may deform the plastics
The installation on a slippery and weak floor such as tiled floor increases vibration and noise
Install it also away from the faucet or the water supply connector
Attention to dew condensation
In summer season when the difference between the water temperature and the atmospheric temperature islarge, the washer outside surface of the washer may sweat and make the floor wet
2 Adjusting the feet of the washing machine
Inclination or looseness may result in increase of vibration and stop during operation.
Eliminate looseness.
Adjust the height of leg to eliminate looseness
Lock nut for adjustable leg 3Tighten (The adjustable leg
is tightened.)

Trang 5(2) Handling of Drain Hose
Warning
Cut off the drain hose.
The hose can be cut at any point along
its length.
Pull off the power plug from the receptacle without fail before handling the drain hose.
This is for the prevention of such a danger as accidental rotation.
When the drain hose is short
When the drain hose is long
Connect the drain hose so that it
should not rise under the bottom of
the washer
If the drain hose rises to thrust up the bottom
of the washer, it may eventually come in
contact with the mechanical or rotary part to
generate an abnormal noise or the hose may
be broken, thus resulting in water leakage.
Extend it by connecting a hose of 3 cm or more inner diameter
The length should be less than 1.5 m.
Do not twist the hose outlet after the drain hose has been fitted in the groove Otherwise, it may rub against the floor and be broken.
Do not connect the drain hose to a drain
port right below the washer.
How to change the position of the drain hose
Drain hose comes in contact.
1
Not securing the hose will cause the hose to become damaged from vibration.
Fit the drain hose by holding the flat parts
of the drain hose with fingers, using care
so that it should not be damaged.
Hose clamps
Front side down
(This procedure is not necessary when not changing the drain hose position.)
1 Carefully lay the washer with its front side down.
2 Remove the drain hose from hose clamp A when positioning the
3 Lay out the drain hose to the desired position and align with the grooves and guides.
4 Fit in the flat parts of the drain hose into the hose clamps in order.

(1) Spin-dry brake safety specification (only the case of final spin-dry)
Since there is a case that the top lid is opened before the rotation of the spin-dry tub stops completely to take outthe clothes, the finish buzzer alarm of this machine is delayed for about 1 minute 30 seconds from the brake actionand the alarm buzzer annunciation time when opening the top lid is extended to 15 seconds for safety
As the result of these safety measures, the following phenomena may occur, however it is not breakaway, soexplain the customer that happens for the safety specification
Although the rotation of spin-dry tub stops,
•The finish buzzer does not sound
• An error is displayed when the top lid is opened
Wait to take out the washed clothes until the finish buzzer sounds.
• If the rotation of the spin-dry tub stops completely, turn off the power
The error display disappears.
(2) Child alarm
To prevent small children from playing or touching the machine and spin-dry tub, this attentive function issues analarm when the top lid is opened (This does not has a top lid locking function.)

Trang 9This washing machine passes tap water through a filter to remove any dirt or particulate like rust in the water The filter keeps the dirty water from reaching the laundry to bring out the full strength of detergent The filter does not require any particular operation Simply washing as usual removes dirt from tap water and supplies clean water to the tub Wash the filter element.
wash cycles, basically consider washing the filter element once every two weeks.) As the filter becomes dirty, the impeller begins turning irregularly whereby worsening water supply to the tub When this happens, the filter is starting to clog, therefore remove and wash the filter element
Detach the clear cover Press on the upper right end of the cover to unhook the catch, then slide to the left to detach Unscrew the filter case cap (The filter case cap has packing on the underside.) Pull filter frame B out of the filter case Hold the projection at the center of the filter frame B to pull outward Remove and wash the filter element Use detergent and wash by pressing (Do not squeeze the filter element Squeezing frays the wool and widens pores, which lower the filtering effect.)
How to assemble Reassemble the filter in the opposite order explained in
(Though depending on the quality of tap water and number of wash cycles, basically consider replacing the filter once every six months.)
1 Insert filter frame A back into filter frame B. 2Fit the two frames together, making sure no gap is in between the contact area. 3 4 Fix back the clear cover. Slide the cover from the left until the upper right end hooks into place.5
Insert filter frame A back into the washed filter element Insert filter frame B back inside the filter case With the impeller to the rear, insert filter frame B all the way to the bottom of the filter case until stopping Securely tighten the filter case cap (Make sure the packing is attached to the underside of the filter case cap.) Tighten the cap until hearing the locking sound Unless securely tight, water will leak around the cap and wet the surrounding area.
If dirt builds heavily inside the filter element and cannot be removed by washing, replace the filter element with the included spare filter When you run out of filter element, contact the place of purchase for replacement order

• The water level must be selected manually if the course is started from the rinsing stage
• The water levels of “DELICATE” course, " DRY " course and " BLANKET " course are predetermined. They are displayed automatically if one of these course is selected
2 When the water is above the reset water level, the machine will automatically select 56L, without measuringthe volume of laundry
3 Putting wet clothes in the machine will result in a higher water level
4 A lower water level may be chosen when the laundry consists of light fabrics (artificial fibers, thin fabric, etc.)
In that case, adjust the level using the water level button
5 When the water level is selected manually, the machine will accept the selection as an appropriate level for thelaundry volume Therefore, it does not measure the laundry volume, and thus the water current and washingtime will also be taken from the manual settings
When pulsator moves, sometimes the buttons on clothes may make noise.
• If you don't want to hear this noise, turn the garments with buttons inside out, so that the buttons are
on the inside
(16) NON-PERFORATED STAINLESS TUB (SPIN-DRY TUB)
Wash
• Equipped with a non-perforated inner tub Also adjusts the water level using a pumping
method that saves water
• The pump section is located under the pulsator A blade underneath the pulsator spins
and pumps up water from the outer tub so that a high water level is maintained in the inner
tub
Spin-dry
• Uses the conventional conical spin-dry method that drains water from the top of the inner-tub while the tub isspinning
Tips for using a stainless tub
• The stainless tub has a mirror finished surface Therefore, residual detergent or dirt can be seen easily Adviseyour customer about how to keep the surface clean, such as wiping the surface with a cloths soaked in a diluteddetergent solution
• Stainless tubs do not rust easily However, you should note that scratches from the surface or rusts on othermaterials (can be pins, hair pins, or other materials) may cause rust stains on the tub surface

(17)HOW TO USE THE DETERGENT DISPENSER
1 How to use the detergent dispenser
• Be sure to start the operation only after inserting
the detergent dispenser
• Note that the inside of the dispenser is divided into three sections
The use of each section depends on the detergent being used
Section a: Liquid bleach, Liquid detergent
Section b: Powdered bleach, Powdered detergent
Section c: Liquid softener
Fig 1
• The siphon method is used to feed detergent etc to the tub from sections a and
c
1 If the water level is lower than the top of the siphon tube, the detergent or
softener will not fed to the wash tub (Fig 2)
2 When the water supplys in and the water level rises above the tube, the
detergent solution in the dispenser will flow out through the tube The
solution will keep on flowing out until the dispenser is empty, even after the
water feed has stopped (Fig 3)
• Water is fed from water supply valve 1 (main) to sections a and b when the operation starts Therefore, add thedetergent or bleach to be used in the first washing stage, to this section
• Water is fed from water supply valve 2 to section c during the last rinsing stage Add the fabric softener whichwill be saved until the last stage in a cycle
• The detergent, bleach, or softener, which is added to each section will be fed automatically into the wash tubwhen water is supplied to the tub
Note1: Clean and dry the dispenser occasionally so that the detergent does not stuck inside
2: If water is added to the tub manually, the detergent etc in the dispenser will not be added to the tub
In this case, add the detergent etc directly to the tub
3: Make sure that the caps on sections a and c are closed Otherwise, the detergent or softener in thosesections will not be added to the tub
2 Automatic detergent feed
Note 1: Use only liquid detergent and bleach Do not use powdered detergents
because the siphon system will not work well with powders
2: If the caps of Sections a and c are not closed, the detergent or
softener will not be fed into the tub because the siphon system will notfunction correctly
• The detergent in section b is added as water is fed
into the tub
Note1: Use only powdered detergents in section-b Do not use liquid
detergent If liquid detergent is added to this section, it will flow into thetub before the water is supplied
Fig 3
3 How to remove the detergent dispenser.
• There is a bump on the top end of the dispenser When the dispenser is pulled
straight out , the bump stops the dispenser at the edge of the hook on the water
supply box
Then push up on the front edge
• When installing the detergent dispenser, keep the front edge up, and then
place the bump behind the edge of the hook on the water supply box
Then lower the front edge and push the detergent dispenser straight in all the

Pressure terminal (Closed-end terminal)
Twist the wires
Caution
1 When connecting lead wires, put all of the strands together and twist the end
firmly.
2 Cover the end of the wire with a pressure terminal.
3 Crimp the terminal to secure the wire using a crimping tool.
4 When finished, make sure that none of the strands sticks out beyond the edge
of the terminal Also, make sure the crimping is secure by pulling each lead wire.
If the terminal is not crimped securely enough, a connection failure occur,
which can result in smoke of fire.
Make sure that none of the strands sticks out beyond the edge terminal, to
avoid electrical shocks, current leak, and short circuits.
