INTRODUCTION
The AgrTopWave LLC Hot Wire Cutter (HWC) has been designed for section weight analysis
of PET containers In section weight analysis the PET container is cut to a predefined number of sections at predefined cutting locations, and the weights of the sections are monitored over time The weight of each section represents the average sidewall thickness of the corresponding sidewall area
Flexibility of the design enables a quick change from one bottle design to another, and easy adjustment of the cutting locations according to the size and shape of the container To ensure maximum efficiency, we recommended that each bottle production line have its own dedicated Hot Wire Cutter and electrical balance
This document contains the necessary unpacking, set-up instructions, and description of the cutting procedures
SCOPE
This manual is for AgrTopWave Hot Wire Cutters with serial numbers 200 and greater For machines with lower serial numbers, contact Agr International to order manual number
