Before beginning setup, unplug the power cord from the input power module (Figure 5) Adjust the adjustable bottle holder to fit the finish of the bottle to be cut (Figure 7) Figure Determine where you want to cut the container and adjust the filament wire positions Align both ends to the same indicator ruler positions (Figure 8) There are index marks on the wire holders at each end of the filament wires Align the index marks on the holders to the same indicator ruler position Figure 8 Adjust the bottle supports to best support the bottle during cutting Push down the center knob and slide the support as necessary (Figure 9) Be careful not to position the bottle supports directly under the filament wires Figure Plug the power cord into the input power module (Figure 10) 1/10/03 M510-D Figure 10 Turn the preheat switch to ON N and the cu utter switch tto ON (Figuure 11) Figure F 11 Alwaays keep the cutter lever in the down n position an d the preheaat switch ON N when not uusing the cu utter for short periods off time In this position thhe filament w wires are nott heated unneccessarily (Fiigure 12) Th his will help the filamentt wires last llonger If thee cutter is noot used for long perriods of time turn the maain power sw witch OFF Figure F 12 10 CUTTIN NG PROCEDURE Lift the cutting leever to the fu ully upright position p (Figgure 13) Plaace the bottlee on its side on the bo ottle supportts Slide the bottle all thee way to the left onto thee pins of thee adjustable bbottle holdeer Tighten th he adjustablee bottle hold der Figure F 13 Loweer the cutting g lever onto the bottle (F Figure 14) A Allow the weeight of the ccutting leverr to the cutting Do o not apply additional a prressure Figure F 14 11 Cuttin ng is finisheed when the cutting c leverr is all the w way down agaainst the fram me and the bbottle sectio ons are loosee (Figure 15)) Heating sttops automattically Figure F 15 The HWC H must be b reset by reeturning the cutting leveer to the fullyy upright position beforee cuttin ng the next bottle b (Figuree 13) NOTE E: When the cutter switch is in the ON position p the fiilament wires are only fullyy heated while e the cutter lever l is betwe een the fully upright u positio on and the fully down posittion With the preheat switch h in the ON po osition, the fila ament wires a are kept warm m between ver is in the fu ully upright or the fully dow wn position cuts when the cutter lev With the Preheat P switch h in the OFF position, p the ffilament wiress are not heatted when the cutter leve er is in the fully y upright position or the fu lly down posiition 12 REPLACING FILAMENT WIRES Tools required: 2.0mm Allen wrench Anti-oxidant conductive grease WARNING!
