AnalysingNonaka's“Knowledgemanagement”theoryinthejointventureenterpriseinVietnam:TheCaseofDragonLogisticsCo., Ltd Author(s): Dao Thi Thanh Huyen, Nguyen Thi, Diem My, Hoang Thi Tu Anh Class: QH-2010-E KTDN and QH-2010-E KTPT Instructor: Dr Nguyen Anh Thu Nowadays, "Knowledge Management" has become increasingly important inthe modern business environment This study aims to give the detailed understanding of this issue, to describe and explain the knowledge creating process injointventure companies in Viet Nam The research based on Nonaka’s knowledge management theory framework Especially, the two most important models used to analyze are SECI model the process of knowledge creation through the conversion between Implicit and Explicit knowledge and Model of dynamic knowledge creation which describes the factors affecting the company’s knowledge management process We also analyzed thecaseofDragonLogisticsCo., Ltd in order to provide a practical aspect ofthe above processes The research’s result shows that knowledge management has been initially formed, however, there is still a shortage ofthe full and systematic awareness of this problem As can be seen from this research, the environment of knowledge creation inthejointventure company is much more complicated than other kinds of companies, that is reflected by the diversity of Ba, the interaction mechanisms in Ba and the knowledge ecosystem The study also shows the ways for firms to change and develop themselves basing on the power of knowledge and knowledge management According to these findings, we suggest some recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of knowledge management inthe joint-venture companies in Vietnam Besides, the research also points out its limitations and suggested further research topics
