Với mục đích của Hội thi : củng cố và bổ sung kiến thức An toàn giao thông cho học sinh tiểu học. Vận dụng hiểu biết về luật An toàn giao thông khi tham gia giao thông. Hình thành một số kĩ năng cơ bản về An toàn giao thông cho học sinh khi tham gia giao thông. Phát huy tính tích cực chủ động của học sinh trong học tập tìm hiểu luật An toàn giao thông.Đối tượng dự thi : là học sinh tiểu học.Số lượng đội tham gia Hội thi : Mỗi Phòng Giáo dục và Đào tạo thành lập 01 đội tuyển học sinh gồm 10 em ( riêng Nha Trang và Ninh Hòa lập 02 đội).Nội dung : Học sinh thi tìm hiểu các kiến thức, kĩ năng cần thiết về An toàn giao thông trong chương trình tiểu học và khả năng vận dụng kiến thức về An toàn giao thông vào thực tiễn khi tham gia giao thông.Học sinh các đội sẽ thi 3 phần, gồm :Phần 1 : Thi tìm hiểu kiến thức ATGT ( 30 điểm – hệ số 2)- Nội dung : gồm 30 câu hỏi thuộc các chủ đề sau :+ Kiến thức giao thông : Những hiểu biết về giao thông học sinh đã học ở trường.+ Biển báo giao thông : những hiểu biết về ý nghĩa các loại biển báo giao thông thông thường nằm trong nội dung học ở trường.+ An toàn giao thông là hạnh phúc của mọi người mọi nhà : học sinh xem video clip hoặc tranh vẽ và chọn phương án trả lời đúng về hành vi đảm bảo an toàn giao thông. ( mỗi câu có 4 phương án trả lời).- Cách thi : Thí sinh theo dõi màn hình, nghe câu hỏi từ Ban tổ chức và trả lời câu hỏi, bằng cách dùng phấn trắng ghi phương án đúng trên bảng con.- Với 30 câu hỏi sẽ chia làm 3 vòng, mỗi vòng thi là 10 câu. Qua từng câu hỏi, thí sinh nào trả lời sai sẽ bị loại ra khỏi vòng thi đó. Sau từng vòng thi, giám khảo sẽ tổng kết ở mỗi đội còn lại bao nhiêu em để ghi điểm cho đội. Số điểm của mỗi đội bằng đúng số học sinh còn lại trong sân ( mỗi em 01 điểm). Tiếp tục vòng 2, các thí sinh sẽ trở lại đội của mình, tiếp tục thi và theo cách tính như vậy cho hết 3 vòng.Điểm thi Phần 1 của cả đội là tổng điểm được giám khảo ghi qua 3 vòng thi của đội ( hệ số 2).
