TOPIC 3: Pneumonia and Diarrhea remain the world's two greatest killers of young children, especially in Africa and Asia In your opinion, what maybe the causes of the problem and what solutions would you like to suggest as a publick health worker in the future Nowaday, Pneumonia and diarrhea remain the world’s two great killers of young children, especially in Africa and Asia There are two main causes that lead to this problem As public health worker, I will analyze and make solution to solve this issue The first and clearly cause is polutted enviroment As we can see, source of water is seriously polluted by releasing garbage into river or lake, air severely affected by greenhouse gas that the cause of exhaust fumes from transport and industrial factory all of this influence to the food and the air people use so bring dangerous risk to them and it's also have pneumonia and diarrhea The second cause is the poor health infrastructure This cause appearance most in developping country like Africa and Asia - where have poor economy So it's the reason for incidence rate of pneumonia and diarrhea in developing country is much higher than developed country Poor health infrastructure for example can be can't have enough sickbeds for patient, lack equipments, health facilities, shortage medicine especially in rural areas, also human resource is still poor in both quantity and quality To solve two causes above we need a lot of time, money Lots of things to but we must to complete main solution suggest: Improve access to clean water and hygienic lavatories for children, encourage people to wear mask when going outside to avoid with polutted air, perform enviromental hygienic measure in public, enhance the quality and quantity of human resources in health care services For example, open more training course to strengthen the quality and the number of health worker Investing in improving health infrastruture to help people access easily to better healthcare services (Ex: increase the number of bedsick, provide medicines and equipment) In conclusion, pneumonia and diarrhea is still seriou problem in the world When my recommendations are released, I hope it will be able to settle and reduce the bad impact of pneumonia and diarrhea to young children
