exception of Draw questions A brief explanation of how to read the Answer Key is provided at the top of each Answer Key and Tape Script page Special notes and suggestions are presented throughout the Answer Key and Tape Script pages where relevant It is recommended that teachers review the Answer Key and Tape Script before administering any of the quizzes or tests in order to familiarize themselves with the questions and anticipate any challenges students may have with the materials 5.2 Every listening question has a corresponding audio clip which can be found on the Let’s Go website at www.oup.com/elt/letsgo/ There are 25 audio clips in total, each clearly marked in the Answer Key beside the corresponding Tape Script Please remember to cue up the correct audio clip in preparation for administering any tests or quizzes Promotional CDs containing this material may also be available in some countries Please contact your local Oxford University Press office for more information 5.3 If you not have access to the Let’s Go 3rd Edition Level audio material, you can still administer the listening portion of the tests or quizzes Here are some suggestions: • Read the Tape Script out loud to your students If possible, use a native-English speaker’s natural pace, intonation and pronunciation and read the Tape Script only once • Have another teacher read the Tape Script out loud This gets your students used to listening to different people speaking English Remind the other teacher to use a native-English speaker’s natural pace, intonation and pronunciation and read the Tape Script only once • Pre-tape the Tape Script You can tape yourself or someone else reading the Tape Script(s) Remember to use a native-English speaker’s natural pace, intonation and pronunciation and read the Tape Script only once 5.4 Listening Questions are an important part of a comprehensive evaluation of how well your students are mastering the materials they are being taught Therefore, it is highly recommended that you not skip the listening portions, or any other components, of Let’s Go Tests and Quizzes Audio 5.1 The following quizzes and tests include listening questions: • Unit Tests
