Giáo án Tiếng anh lớp 12 Unit 14 : INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS The 83rd period Grade 12 Theme: International Organizations Unit 14 Reading Time: 45 minutes I Objectives: Educational aim: Students should know about International Red Cross Knowledge: - General knowledge: Students know about activities of International Red Cross - Language: Students could understand and use new words after reading - New words: Words related to International Red Cross Skills: Guessing meaning in context, scanning for specific information and passage comprehension II Method: Integrated, mainly communicative III Teaching aids: Student’s book and pictures, etc IV Procedure: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Notes Warm-up: (5 minutes) - Lead out the hand out and ask students - Open the book matching the names of organizations - Listen to the teacher with the pictures - Look at the blackboard - Let students understand more about and put two words together these organizations, today we learn - Listen to the teacher and Unit 14- part A: Reading open the book – Unit 14, part A: reading Before you read : (7 minutes) - Ask students to use the suggestion in their books to work in pairs - Look at the book, listen to - Ask and answer questions : the teacher and work in pairs: 1,what kind of activities is this -Answer the questions organization involved in?
