The term comes from the Greek word ethikos from ethos, which means custom, habit. The super field within philosophy known as axiology includes both ethics and aesthetics and is unified by each subbranchs concern with value “A set of concepts and principles that guide us in determining what behaviour helps or harms sentient creatures. Ethics seeks to resolve questions dealing with human morality—concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong , virtue and vice, fair and unfair, justice or crime, proper and improper.
