1/- YES/NO questions (câu hỏi yes/no): là loại câu hỏi được trả lời là “yes” hoặc “no”. Loại câu hỏi này được lên giọng ở cuối câu. Ex: Are you a student? – Yes, I am/ No I am not Do they speak English? – Yes, they do/ No, they don’t Will you go to Ho Chi Minh next month? – Yes, I will/ No, I won’t 2/- OR quesions (câu hỏi lựa chọn): là câu hỏi có liên từ “Or” nằm giữa hai từ cùng loại. Loại câu hỏi này không được trả lợi là “yes/no” Ex: Are you happy or sad? – I am happy Do you go to the cinema or the park? – I go to the cinema. 3/- Wh-questions (câu hỏi có từ hỏi): là câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng từ hỏi (wh-word).
