The differences between qualitative and quantitative methods : Qualitative Methods Quantitative Methods Collecting non-numeric data Collecting numerical data that can be quantified Methods include focus groups, in-depth interviews, and reviews ,content analysis,observation Methods include questionnaire surveys,reviews, content analysis,observation This is an inductive process which is used to formulate theory.
