There were many opinions on English learning attitude in the primary schools and in other corners, such as: “English is without a doubt the actual universal language” said Carlos Carrion Torres of Brazil in the meeting with students in the national Philippines universities (2011). In a study on how to teach speaking communicatively to grade 10 in Tran Phu high school, Tran Thi Uyen especially mentioned to the communication language teaching method. The research showed 4 specific problems following concerning with disadvantages from students: + Students lack motivation for communicative competence because they seem to be over concerned with passing exams which rarely test for communicative competence. + Students show resistance to class participation and the reasons may come from their anxiety, laziness and unfamiliarity with communicative lessons. + Students use Vietnamese during group work and the sources of the difficulty are also anxiety and unfamiliarity with the communicative language teaching method. + Students are low of English proficiency. Jeanne Baird said “The English language is one of the most widely spoken 8 in the world. English is used almost everywhere.” In my opinion, English is the most popular language in the world and English is important for us.
