Number Dictation T reads: one, ten, thirteen, forty-five, fifty- five, thirty, twenty, twenty-five, thirty-five, T-whole class 1 (10ms) seventeen Ss write: 1, 10, 13, 45, 30, 20, 25, 35, 17 2. Chatting - Use a clock and ask Ss some questions + What is this ? (It’s a clock) + Are there any clocks in your house ? + What do we use the clock for ? (T asks in Vietnamese)  Lead Ss to the topic of the lesson. T-whole class Presentation (7ms) Pre-teach - Introduce how to ask and answer about the time using the clock. What time is it ? Listen (C5/P.50) - Ask Ss to listen to the tape and write the time. - Get the answer from Ss. - Give feedback - Ask Ss to listen and repeat - Call on some Ss to read aloud 2. Realia Drill - Ask Ss to practice asking and answering about the time by using a clock. Example exchange: S 1 : What time is it ? S 2 : It’s half past eleven - Call on some pairs to practice in front of the class Individual work Pairwork Production 1.
