The function of an argumentative

essay:

To prove that your opinion about some fact, problem or phenomenon is correct or more truthful than others

There are a few types of argumentative compositions such

as:

1 Advantages and disadvantages

2 Expressing opinions/providing solutions to problems

3 Expressing arguments for and against a topic

4 Compare and contrast
