Follow these steps: 1 Click and drag the vertical line representing the beat marker outside the Clip Trimmer. iMovie deletes the beat marker. ● You can also -click the waveform and then click Remove All Beat Markers to remove them all. ● iMovie adds a beat marker to the audio clip, which appears as a vertical white line in the waveform. ● If the audio overlays a clip, iMovie also splits the clip at the beat marker. This allows you to easily replace content between beats in your project. When iMovie shortens a clip to fit it between beats, it trims from the end of the clip. In the precision editor, you can shift your video so that a different part of the clip appears. 1 Position your cursor over the clip you want to edit. 2 Click and click Precision Editor in the menu that appears. The precision editor opens. 3 Click and drag the clip to the left to display a different part. 4 Click Done to save the change. iMovie adds a still photo to the project. ● The photo is shown for the duration between the next two beat markers. After selecting a video clip in the event browser, click and drag the selection onto an existing clip in the project browser. In the Video adjustments panel, Levels allow you to adjust dark and light tones in a clip more precisely. ● The Levels graph shows a color histogram that represents the distribution of colors in the clip. Darker colors are on the right and lighter colors are on the left. 1 You can click and drag the left slider to the right to boost the darker tones. 2 You can click and drag the right slider to the left to boost the lighter tones.
