Grammar : conditional sentences, Adjectives derived from nouns B. Vocabulary : III- Techniques : Communicative approach. IV- Teaching aids : Textbooks, color chalk, photos, ruler … V- Procedures A. Classroom procedures (1’) - greetings and checking attendances. B. Review of the previous lesson C. New lesson : (42’) Teacher’s activities students’ activities Activity 1: Conditional sentences - give three examples with 3 types of conditional sentences - Ask SS to recognize the structures in these sentences - remind them of the structures, and how to use - give some more exercises, ask them to do - after SS finish, call some students go to bb to do. - correct them and ask them do again the exercises in unit 7. - T gives comments , an review more knowledge about how to say / write a fraction - give more exercises and ask them to do. - after SS finish, call some students go to bb to do. - correct them. Nouns: harm, use, help, care, beauty, Activity 2 : - Adjectives derived from nouns -Put these categoies on the board -FUL,-AL, -OUS, - ABLE -Have SS put the adjectives into the correct column. -Call on SS to give the corresponding nouns -Go over the answers with the whole class. -Have SS repeat the nouns and then adjectives after teacher -Call on SS to say the words. - Make corrections if needed -Elicit the form of these adjectives: danger, fame, never, mystery, nation, coast, culture, patent, music, fate, comfort, value, fashion. -Ful : harmful, useful, careful, beautiful -ous : dangerous, famous, nervous, mysterious -al : national , coastal, cultural, parental, musical, fatal -able : comfortable, valuable, fashionable N+al/ous/ful/able=ADJ D.
