many places, especially the Z generation Over the past 5-10 years, we've seena faster rate of change than we've seen in the past decade As in the recruitment methods, the candidates almost no longer have to fill out dozens of pages of
resumes, but can apply from anywhere, anytime via Facebook, Linkedin, or
recruitment websites Over the past year, the Covid-19 Pedemic have created barriers to international recruitment activities, making talent acquisition one of
the hardest hit HR functions all over the world

change and change that will greatly affect the future of HR Facing this change, it
is important for us to understand to be able to adapt in the future environment,
for this reason, today our group has decided to choose to research and do the topic “The future of HR & the globalization” to understand more as well as

1 HOW IS THE FUTURE OF HR?
Globalization is known as the common word to describe the growing
interdependence of the world's commerce, economies, populations, cultures Lots
of cross-border trade in technology, goods, and services, people, flows of
investment, information The country's government permits people to work across
boundaries
Globalization has two-sided nature, it is both cooperation and competition between
countries, not only between developed countries but also between developed
countries and developing countries Therefore, globalization creates opportunities and challenges for countries in human resource development, especially in developing countries
Firstly, we think the globalization will make the job rotation to different
countries in multinational companies will happen more often (because the development of these companies around the world) For example, when the
company wants to open foreign branches, the effects of that globalization on HR produces will increase to current workers and new employees because the HR department has to support its current staff because they move overseas to new positions Assistance needs to be supported including visas, housing, work
permits The company has to train in cultural issues and language In some
situations, they can easily hire local workers, but they have to train the workforce and spend a lot of time The company always wants to look for already-trained and skilled employees to be moved to positions in overseas locations On the
other hand, the current worker ready to become mobile would be an important
factor
Secondly, trends of the global economy may affects the future of the human resources industry The competition is getting fiercer on a g lobal scale and the workforce is also more diversified as countries go global, allowing resources to labor of his country to another country to work terms favorable:
- Globalization stimulates the rapid developmen t of science and technology
and requires people in general and the workforce, in particular, to
constantly improve to keep up with the development of science, technology, and job requirements
- For many employees working in enterprises with advanced management
methods, using modern technology at home and abroad In the process of working, they have studied, acquired skills and knowledge, modern
working style (CƯỜNG, 2015)

- Foreign companies can recruit talented human resources from other
countries
- Set factories in other countries In other words, hiring workers is much
cheaper than hiring workers in their own country Thanks to globalization, unemployment rates have improved in some countries.Set factories in
other countries In other words, hiring workers is much cheaper than
hiring workers in their own country Thanks to globalization, unemployment rates have improved in some countries
Besides, the effects of globalization on human resources development are also
cultural differences, in and out of the work environment They usually have their own cultures or ways businesses of operating, but the social and cultural
differences still exist between employees as well Because of varying cultures,
some countries still have gender discrimination For example, in American culture, the female managerial position isn't uncommon h owever, the same thing
is not agreed upon in another countries (Natter, 2020)
Furthermore, because of the influence of globalization, jobs and professions are constantly changing Many companies have moved from traditional HR titles like
Chief Human Resources Officer to Chief Experience Officer or Talent Manager
New titles show the expanded scope of HR and how it is involved in many more areas of employee experience
Finally, most of the HR’s across the world believe that they would have to fight
tooth and nail so as to retain top and outstanding employees in the near future While the economy is becoming globalized, the markets are expected to become
more and more competitive The HR’s have to prepare themselves for the dire
consequences as an extra strenuous effort would be needed to establish loyalty amongst the employees (Recruiteze, 2019)
2 HOW CAN YOU PREPARE FOR THAT FUTURE?
2.1 Students
For students, especially those majoring in human resources, preparing for the
future is very important, each individual needs to equip themself with the following important things (Lé, 2020):
a) Professional skills and knowledge
Any profession requires a professional and human resource management too, in the university environment you will be trained in knowledge about the faculty in
Economics and Management
Some expertise of major human resources management which we should take the time to cultivate like:
L2
Trang 9« Ability to analyze, forecast and calculate the company's human resource needs
e Structure and restructuring of human resources
¢ Build portraits of potential candidates for each position
« Building and organizing a system of interview questions and entrance exams
¢ Building and developing an employee quality management system
b) Good attitude
A positive attitude is also important because it not only helps you to build useful relationships at university but also in future jobs with your co-employees and
employees in the future company later | believe that good human resource
managers are who with good attitudes Moreover, a positive attitude can help you
learn faster in everything
c) Stress management skill
With the junior and senior students who will start working at any business or company, they will encounter a lot of pressure from surrounding factors such as
relationships, work productivity or from customers, so the stress management skills is really necessary It will somewhat help them to handle their problems like:The workload is overloaded with current capacity and circumstances:
¢ Working hours are long and stressful
« The boss is strict, demanding, and puts pressure on employees
« Unstable working environment
2.2 Organization
In the context of globalization, the labor market is playing an increasingly
important role in screening and evaluating training quality The human resource development strategy requires a new approach, which emphasizes the ability to solve problems in uncertain and changing circumstances This requires human resource development organizations to meet the requirements of globalization to
have appropriate solutions:
- Organizations will begin to change from functional work to cross-
functional work (jobs that derive from simple tasks through narrow
specialization to multi-tasking)
Trang 10Trường Đại học Hoa Sen
- The organization must be built in a neat and compact way with fewer layers
to be able to transmit information to people quickly and easily adapt to the change of the environment When the organization reduces the management apparatus, it will help businesses reduce a part of competitive costs (Phap, 2019)
Additionally, any company, large or small, also needs to build a human resource
management department with the tasks of managing the employee system Know how to plan to recruit, train and improve the quality of employees, build appropriate, effective welfare regimes to improve work productivity and to successfully complete the company's goals and development plans

CONCLUSION After going through the process of making the Report We understood more about how is the future of HR and how can be better in that future - as a student as well
as an organization through analyzing, researching HR documents in books and in the internet as well as apply the knowledge we have learned in the subject Although our team tried to make the report as good as possible, there were still some errors in the implementation process We are looking forward to receiving
your comments so that we can draw more experiences and improve for the next projects
We sincerely thank you for your time reading the report
