INTRODUCTION

Talent management is the full scope of HR processes to attract, develop, motivate and retain high-performing employees The primary objective of talent management is to build

a motivated workforce who will stay with your organization in the long run Human resource management (HRM) play an important role in the implementation and achievement of strategic management and subsequently improve human capabilities Therefore, recruitment is an extremely important job for businesses, but it is also full of risks in recruiting personnel Human resource management is not only about selecting employees who meet the company's job needs, but after recruiting, we have to make new employees feel like they are working at their own home rather than somewhere strange, partners will be like family members and best friends, without any psychological distance

or discrimination based on gender,age and appearance With all above, new talents will feel more familiar and closer to the company and colleagues, which will create motivation

to work and study, promoting their advancement

SUMMARY TOPIC

Ms Marlene who is a sales manager for May Holdings, she has to lead a sales team Because of her staff problems so she need to recruit 1 accountant, 1 IT engineer and 1 sales team leader They will join the company in the next 3 months

As a HR team of May Holdings, it is our pleasure to help Ms Marlene meet her needs about recruiting new talents We will formulate human resource strategy, specifically employment planning, staff training and even close analysis of the operations involved

in these plans such as JD design, simulation and evaluation of candidates within the interview And plan to propose appropriate training plans so that new personnel can easily integrate and develop in our corporate environment

From November 1 November – 26: Hiring and selecting for accountant

From November 27 – December 24: Hiring and selecting for IT engineer

From December 25 – January 12 (next year): Hiring and selecting for sales team leader The orientation training will be held on January 13

All employees and new talents will have a day off on January 14 (Sunday) and start working on January 15

THE ROLE OF HR TEAM

1 Determine recruitment needs and draft job description:

1.1 Accountant

A Staff Accountant provides valuable contributions to a company in several ways:

 Financial Reporting and Analysis: Staff accountants are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data

 Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Staff accountants ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements They help the company meet its legal obligations and avoid penalties or legal issues related to financial matters

 Internal Controls and Risk Management: They help establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and mitigate financial risks They contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information

 Audit Support: Staff accountants assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and analysis of financial transactions Their expertise helps ensure a smooth audit process and accurate representation of the company's financial position

 Financial Decision Support: Staff accountants provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making They assist in evaluating investment opportunities, assessing the financial viability of projects, and providing financial information for business planning and expansion initiatives

1.2 IT

Recruiting IT office staff can help a company in several ways:

 Technical Expertise: a skilled IT staff handles complex technical tasks, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's IT operations

 Enhanced Productivity: IT staff has to streamline processes, automate tasks, and optimize systems, leading to increased productivity across the organization

 Cybersecurity and Data Protection: They will implement robust security measures, monitor network activity, and respond to security incidents, reducing the risk of data breaches and protecting sensitive information

 IT Infrastructure Management: IT staff manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems They ensure that systems are up- -to

date, secure, and properly maintained, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations

 User Support and Training: IT staff provides technical support to employees, helping them troubleshoot issues, resolve software or hardware problems, and maximize their productivity

1.3 Sales Team Leader

The recruitment purpose for the position of a Sales Manager is to find a qualified individual who can effectively lead and manage a sales team, drive revenue growth, and achieve targets The recruitment goals for a sales manager position include the following:

 Achieving Sales Objectives: The sales manager is responsible for setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts to achieve the company's sales objectives

 Building and Managing a High-Performing Sales Team: The sales manager should recruit, select, and train sales representatives, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed They should also provide coaching, performance monitoring, and ongoing development to maximize the team's performance

 Driving Revenue Growth: The sales manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding the customer base

 Setting and Monitoring Sales Targets: The sales manager should set clear sales targets and monitor the team's progress towards achieving them This involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing sales data, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance

 Motivating and Mentoring the Sales Team: The sales manager should create a positive and motivating work environment, providing guidance, support, and mentorship

to the sales team This includes recognizing and rewarding achievements, addressing performance issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

 Contributing to Recruitment Strategy: The sales manager may also contribute to the overall recruitment strategy of the organization by providing input on hiring needs, participating in the selection process, and ensuring the team has the right talent to achieve sales goals

2 Suggest solutions to attract new employees and explain:

2.1 Creating a company's brand:

 Positive work environment: We offer flexible work schedules, attractive benefits and allowances, supportive development for employees, and a comfortable work environment

 Company communication activities: Our company makes investments to create a positive brand through social media and the company's official web page to convey its messages or values thereby increasing the company's recognition level

 The company information and recruitment process are clear: We always strive to provide clear and transparent information about our company This will help candidates feel more at ease when researching about the company, as well as providing clear and understandable job descriptions

 Respect our employees: Employees are essential to the growth of the company We understand this, so we highly respect their contributions and opinions That promotes positivity within our company and draws in a large pool of candidates eager to work in this setting

2.2 Internal recruitment

 Internal recruitment announcement: our company's HR department will notify all current employees about vacant positions This also creates opportunities for employees

to develop themselves and improve their experience

 Ask employees for referrals: Employees in the company are an effective, free network of information and relationships that help link the company's recruitment needs

to potential candidates Employees work directly for the company, so they will better understand the characteristics and recruitment needs that the company sets out

2.3 Recruitment outside the company

 Publish job openings on the company's website and social media accounts: Our company's official information channels where everything will be put on and will be seen

by people who are interested in working for us As mentioned above, our company is doing well in the media sector so it will attract many potential candidates and there is no need to spend any money on posting this recruitment

 Publish job openings on the online job sites and job groups on social networks:

It is not difficult to post job openings on the online job sites and job groups on social networks because there is a large number of candidates and significant interaction there
