- Danh từ không đếm được là những danh từ chỉ sự vật, sự việc hay hiện tượng mà chúng ta không thể đếm được.

- Phần lớn danh từ không đếm được không có hình thức số nhiều, do đó chúng ta không dùng được các con số và mạo tư a/anvới danh tư không đếm được Tuy nhiên, chúng ta có thể dùng some, much, a little hoặc các cụm từ chỉ sự đo lường trước danh từ không đếm được.
