Objective: Get an overview of group exercises in English 1, analyze the content and requirements of group exercises, finalize the topic the group will work on and propose specific situations

III MEETING CONTENTS

1 Group leader Nguyen Hai Yen rereads the content and requirements of the assignment so that the whole group can clearly understand and discuss ideas for 10 minutes

2 Nguyen Thi Hong Anh and Nong Minh Ly supplemented and reiterated the teacher's instructions and notes on how to do the test

- Pham Thi Minh Phuong suggested some topics for group exercises

- Nong Minh Ly proposed the topic of Travel because he found it to be a topic with many ideas and content to talk about and exploit

- Other members also agreed with Nong Minh Ly's opinion and group leader Nguyen Hai Yen agreed that Travel is the topic that the group will carry out

3 The group continues to discuss and members brainstorm ideas about situations that the group will do in the topic Travel:

- Group leader Nguyen Hai Yen proposed to work on the situation: "There is a group of friends who will sit together and talk and discuss where they plan to go and vacation in the upcoming winter."

- Pham Thi Minh Phuong agreed with the group leader's proposed situation and commented: "We should write about people from different provinces in the country."

- Group leader Nguyen Hai Yen commented: "It would be better if you had people from different countries"

- Tran Thi Hoa and Nong Minh Ly also agree that you should come from different countries because there will be many cultural differences, famous tourist destinations, and cuisines

- Tran Thi Hoa proposed: "The group of friends consists of 5 people, of which 2 are Vietnamese and the remaining 3 are foreigners."

III CONTENTS OF THE MEETING

-After receiving teacher’s comments on changing the topic, the group decided to meet

to come up with a new topic

-Pham Thi Minh Phuong brought up two topics: Discussing technology cars and discussing the military parade commemorating the victory of Dien Bien Phu

- Nong Minh Ly gave 3 topics: planning a party, discussing one of the greatest inventions, and discussing the use of social networks

- Nguyen Thi Hong Anh has 3 ideas: discussing students renting rooms, discussing a cafe startup project, discussing students' future jobs after graduation

- Nguyen Hai Yen offers 3 options: plan a mountain climbing trip, talk about a scientific conference, discuss planning a big event

- Tran Thi Hoa presented 2 ideas: how to cook a dish with national identity, sharing about the March 10 holiday for foreign friends

- Nguyen Hai Yen summarizes the situation and opens a vote to see which situation everyone finds most suitable

-After discussing and voting, the group chose 3 situations that the group found most suitable: planning a mountain climbing trip, a parade to celebrate the victory of Dien Bien Phu, and starting a cafe

- Afterwards, Nguyen Hai Yen texted our teacher to ask for her opinion on the three topics above And after receiving her advice, the whole group decided to choose the idea of starting a cafe

- The whole group comes up with ideas for implementing a conversation including asking about the cafe's location, cafe startup capital, how to attract customers, menu, cafe decoration, name of the cafe, target customers, and Discuss how many sentences of conversation are appropriate

- Then Nguyen Hai Yen assigned each member to prepare the outline according to the content of the meeting, then summarize and distribute the dialogue to the members

- Members re-read the summary of the article, then give comments and edits, then produce a complete dialogue

- The whole group schedules the next meeting to read the dialogue and how to record the opening paragraph for the video

1 After the group was fully present, group leader Nguyen Hai Yen reiterated the video recording requirements disseminated by Ms Thuy, the subject instructor, within a period of 5 minutes

2 Pham Thi Minh Phuong and Nguyen Thi Hong Anh added and reiterated the teacher's instructions and notes on how to record videos

3 Nong Minh Ly suggested filming in the self-study area in the D6 building area because this is the place people choose to do homework and discuss a lot, besides it also has a very nice view Pretty

tourists looking for a unique coffee experience

Phương: Regarding the shop's style, what should we design?

Hòa: How about a book cafe with an open space that combines classic and modern

patterns?

Ánh: That's a great idea! Should we provide free Wi-Fi to customers?

Yến: Yes, we should Free Wi-Fi can attract customers who want to work or study at

the shop

Lý: What equipment do we need for our coffee shop?

Hòa: Essential equipment includes an espresso machine, grinders, brewing devices,

and a fridge

Phương: How can we protect the environment?

Ánh: We can use eco-friendly packaging and reusable cups.
