INTROD UCTION
WELCOME TO MY PRESENTATION
TODAY, WE WILL
EXPLORE AN IMPORTANT SOCIAL ISSUE: "POVERTY AND THE VALUE OF
FOOD".
Trang 5IN TODAY’S MODERN WORLD, WE ARE FACED WITH A SAD TRUTH: DESPITE CONSTANT
DEVELOPMENT IN TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMY, POVERTY REMAINS A GLOBAL ISSUE THAT
WE CANNOT IGNORE POVERTY NOT ONLY AFFECTS PEOPLE’S DAILY LIVES, BUT ALSO
CREATES A CHAIN OF OTHER SOCIAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS DISEASE, CRIME, AND
INEQUALITY.
MEANWHILE, THE VALUE OF FOOD IS OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD AND UNDERVALUED FOOD
IS NOT JUST A BASIC NECESSITY FOR SURVIVAL, BUT ALSO AN IMPORTANT PART OF
CULTURE, HEALTH, AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT HOWEVER, IN A FAST-PACED
CONSUMER SOCIETY, THE TRUE VALUE OF FOOD SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN.
WE NEED TO RECONSIDER THE ISSUE OF POVERTY AND THE VALUE OF FOOD FROM A NEW PERSPECTIVE, TO FIND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS TO THESE PROBLEMS BY DOING SO, WE NOT ONLY HELP IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE IMPOVERISHED, BUT ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO THE
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY AS A WHOLE.

The Value of
Food
Food is not just a source of energy for the body In the context
of poverty,
the value of food becomes extremely important.
Trang 9
1 Food as a Source of Life: For those living in poverty, each meal can
be a battle Food provides the strength for them to continue their daily lives, work, and nourish their families
Trang 102 Food as a Symbol of Hope: Food is also a symbol of hope A satisfying meal can bring joy and hope for a better day That’s why providing food to the hungry not only helps them survive but also brings hope for the future
Trang 113 Food as an Educational Tool: Food is also an important educational tool When children do not have to worry about finding food, they can focus on learning A breakfast provides the necessary energy for children
to concentrate on their studies
Trang 124 Food as a Basic Human Right: Finally, the right to eat well and clean is a basic human right In a world full of food, no one should go hungry We need to recognize and respect the value of food, and we need to work together to ensure that everyone has access to food
