IV Research methods: Primary research We will prepare a survey of 12 questions related to students’ delayed behavior Toward an objective outcome, I will invite 100 IBD’s students to take part in this survey to give personal opinions and share experiences in their minds Google Forms will help to create this survey The responses will be sent to Google Sheets, from which we analyze them and put them into the data tables Secondary research The achievements of outstanding scholars have been of importance to the development of my research We will be using 12 different sources, including journal articles and newspapers The sources we cite will be listed at the end of this research proposal PROJECT V Major findings The location where IBD students contact and get information from LGBT 1.1 Frequency of working with LGBT people Based on the answers, most of the students responded that they sometimes work and interact with 3rd sex people, it can be easily seen that the two answers above account for 83% it makes up the bulk of the total feedback from students enrolled in the curriculum at this faculty There are very few students who say that they regularly and never work with LGBT people Students often work, and contact with people of the 3rd sex accounts for about 8%, this is also the answer that students answered the least Besides, some of you have not worked with those people quite a lot, it accounts for about 9% of the total responses In addition, students answered that they have worked with LGBT people the most times, accounting for 63% of the above 83% and the number of students responding is often working with them accounting for 21% In short, the students worked and talked with LGBT quite a lot and quite often PROJECT 70% 0.62 60% 50% 40% 30% 21% 20% 0.09 seen that students have worked with LGBT people in many places But most of the students who have worked with them have been or are in college, where students working with LGBT accounted for 80% of the total responses this is a large percentage because school is seen as a place where students can express themselves and their individuality In addition, some students also meet LGBT people at work such as at companies, restaurants, events, or simply through charity activities, going to concerts The percentage of students who met at work is 10%, of which the number of students working with LGBT people in the company accounts for the most, about 7%, the rest met and work together at the events, and even in the community But besides that, some people have not had the opportunity to work with LGBT people and that rate is 9% In short, the students have been working with LGBT friends in many places, mainly at school Document continues below Discover more from: Course Project for Economic Figure 2: Place to work with LGBT people 1.3 The way you know LGBT people Looking at the chart, it can be seen that students have met and known LGBT in many places such as social networks, and through friends the number of respondents who have come into contact with and know people of the 3rd gender on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram accounted for more than half of the responses, accounting for 63% But it is even less when students know about them through the press it's down to 5% of the total responses from students, for the number of PROJECT responses is very small, the students have known and heard about them through friends, face to face with a 3rd sex person accounts for only 5% But this number has decreased compared to the students who know about it through social networks to 36%, so only 27% of students know about LGBT through television programs According to Lao Dong newspaper (Chi, 2022), the GLAAD organization said that the number of people who know LGBT people through Instagram was the highest, it accounts for 48.38% while Facebook accounts for only 46.3% but compared to our survey, the most IBD’s students know them through Facebook The rate of knowing 3rd sex people through Facebook was 53% out of 63% in total In short, students already know about the 3rd gender everywhere and now it's the 4.0 era, so most of you have heard, know or come into contact with other people LGBT through social networks 60% 0.53 50% 40% 30% 0.27 20% 10% 10% 0.05 0.03 0.03 0% Faceboook 0% 0 0 0Instargram 00 0 Faceboook 0% TV shows 0 Instargram 0%News 0 TV inspirations that LGBT give to IBD students Firstly, the biggest inspiration that IBD students got from LGBT was show their personalities confidently The reasons for this is that more and more people have open-minded with LGBT and it can make them more confident about themselves The number of student who felt self-confident when they communicated with LGBT is 49% while students who had overcome contempt was about 8% The above data shows that the effects of LGBT on IBD student are mostly positive effects In conditional, 30% of students found love themselves and 13% did not find any inspiration from LGBT In conclusion, most IBD students found confident to show their personalities and felt love themselves more after contact with LGBT 30.00% 49.00% 13.00% 8.00% Show their personalities confidently Have no inspiration Overcome contempt Love yourself Figure 4: LGBT’s inspiration for students 2.2 The special aspects of LGBT The pie chart shows most LGBT are very friendly and wholesome because it took 36% in total Otherwise, the least proportion that students’ feeling about the different perspectives of LGBT were just normal and brave to show their PROJECT The next chart also shows the feelings of the students but while working with LGBT Up to 44% respondents to this survey felt comfortable working with LGBT contrast to only 3% of students felt uncomfortable There is no doubt that LGBT guys work very professional and friendly when the number of satisfied people was nearly 15 times the number of dissatisfied people Besides, 40% of IBD students felt normal with the way LGBT working This was not small number and it is can said that there is not much difference in how LGBT works with students The remaining 13% felt excited when working with LGBT It also means that they had some new creations and breakthroughs that make students felt attracted and interested when working with them In short, most student quite interested in working and communicating with LGBT Compared with research of Dong Thap University, most of participants felt normal when they have chance to communicate with LGBT (46%) while the result of our survey shows this proportion is just 1% In addition, the people who did not want to contact with LGBT in Dong Thap University’s research is half of this number in our research This means that people are gradually having a more open and sympathetic view of LGBT Furthermore, both of two research is also show the positive attitude when having 29,1% and 48% people who join these survey have a happy communication with LGBT (Ngoc, opinions about helping LGBT people, divided into sections: students helping out, helping without feeling uncomfortable, helping little, from refuse to help, and treating them like everyone else In the case of the top chosen answers, 65% of the respondents can be seen that they choose to their best to help LGBT people in need, accounting for more than half of the answers Because current students as well as students at IBD were born and live in a civilization without discrimination, they will be willing to help LGBT people easily This number drops to 16% for those who decide to help them without difficulty, and further drops to 6%, with only 10% of the PROJECT interviewees helping a little bit of the respondents For the other two responses, students refusing to help' and treating LGBT like others, the first choice accounted for less than 1/10 of the choices, or 8% Only 1% of the participants shared the opinion that LGBT should be treated like other people, which is also the least chosen option out of the options mentioned In short, most of the students helped LGBT people as much as they could 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% 0% 0.65 16% 0% 0 0 0.1 0 0 0% Give the best help Give a little LGBT people Based on the chart above, shows that students want to help people of the 3rd gender Out of a total of answers, most of them answered positively students are always ready to help LGBT enthusiastically and wholeheartedly The chart above shows that the majority of students' feedback encourages them to be themselves, with a response rate of 44% Because now everyone can live in a civilized society and culture without discrimination, the PROJECT students always support and encourage LGBT to live true to themselves and just show their personality But besides that, there are still 6% of students who did nothing when seeing those people having difficulty This is quite a large number and should sound alarm bells The remaining answers are only 10% different and in which, the student who answered always helps them the most in the questions above, it is up to 30% and the remaining answers account for 20% In summary, most of the students responded that they were willing to help with all their might, but some students ignored it when they saw a 3rd sex person in difficulty According to Vietnamnet newspaper (Ha, 2022), up to 50% of LGBT people in the US have not been supported when it comes to healthcare This is too large number compared to our research because this proportion in our research is just 6% This shows that students in Viet Nam are always ready to support 3rd sex people 50% 45% 40% 35% 30% 25% 20% 15% 10% 5% 0% 0.44 30% 0.2 0.06 0%le y st En ag ur co e th em to ow sh e th 0 ir l He p em th in er ev it ys ua n0 ti o Encourage them to show their and feelings about LGBT people of IBD students 4.1 The evaluation on IBD students about LGBT The column chart illustrates the mode of regarding LGBT people on students studied at IBD It can be seen that LGBT are hard-working and clever According to the survey, industriousness and intelligence were the most popular impression about LGBT people, accounting for 58%, more than over half of all impressions The next largest sector was listenable, amounting to 22%, nearly half of industrious and intelligent Approximately 19% IBD students viewed LGBT people were dependent They helped students realize that they were confident to show their personalities However, there was a small proportion of IBD students who thought LGBT was lazy, accounting for 1% The very low number of these showed that people who have unidentified gender are always laborious In short, there are many ideas that we can feel about LGBT but the most popular are industrious and intelligent and the least are lazy 70 58 60 50 40 30 20 22 19 10 Dependent Lazy Industrious, intelligent Series Figure 10: The evaluation on IBD students about LGBT Listenable PROJECT 4.2 The feeling of LGBT physical health when they are playing on IBD students The bar chart compares the appreciation of LGBT people when they take part in different activities on IBD students First of all, the number of students who fell the health of LGBT was good hit a peak at 55%, over half of all feelings They were active and enthusiasm about participating in competitions or activities They wanted to improve their health and make friendships with more people Next, the percentage of people who thought LGBT people had normal health was approximately 34% Although they had different gender, they had the usual health as everyone They could join in every activity like anyone else On the other hand, the proportion of students who fell LGBT were fragile and usually tired respectively 10% and 1% The main reason for this was that they have witnessed an operation In conclusion, there are many evaluations of LGBT physical health but most of the students think that they have good health, and least others rate their health could have HIV Compared with the research of The Medicals News Today, LGBT people also suffered from depression and to be at risk of HIV infection The rate of HIV infection in LGBT has increased significantly in recent years The key monitoring of 2018 shows that the current rate of infection in this group is 10.8% increasing rapidly compared to 2011 of only 2.9% On the survey of Trevor project in 2020 about “The health of LGBT people”, the amount of people who thought to kill themselves is 40%, the proportion of people who harmed themselves is 48% The rate of health problem in LGBT people is much greater than male and female (Vien y hoc ung dung,) PROJECT 60 55 50 40 34 30 20 10 10 Good Fragile Usually tired Normal Series Figure 11: The feeling of LGBT physical health when they are playing on IBD students 4.3 The assessment on IBD students of LGBT’s ability to control emotions when contacting The chart shows the evaluation of IBD students about controlling their feeling when they communicate Most IBD students who contacted with LGBT saw that they know how to regulate emotions and it took 32% It can be seen that they knew the way to express their emotions suitably In contrast, approximately 12%, over one-third of the highest on number of IBD students impressed that LGBT always hided their feelings Because of having different gender, they were usually shy and have a trend that did not show their real emotions Moreover, today, there is still a small distance between LGBT and everyone that they only share with the people who have the same sex instead of everybody In addition to other assessments, there is 31% of the wide range of students who have no comments about this option, smaller than the highest Finally, coming third of the survey is the rate of extreme emotional expression which is 25% In short, students have a variety of sides on controlling feelings and almost them evaluate that LGBT knows how to regulate emotions Compared with “Can happiness skills be learned?” book, LGBT who is student now has a wide range of the way how to control the feelings The highest number PROJECT is the teenagers who help positive re-evaluation, peaked at 15.81% They thought about great experiences instead of negative ones, about the lessons which they can learn this problem Then they become stronger thanks to what happened And only tent to blame on people when expressing emotions Each of them feels others are the main reason of these problems and they want another to take responsibility for what they cause (Nguyen Hong Phuc, Tuong Van Nguyen, Nguyen Duc Tai, 2023) 60 55 50 40 34 30 20 10 10 Good Fragile Usually tired Normal Series Figure 12: The ability of LGBT to control emotion when contacting VI Conclusion Summary of the research Our team decided to research the current youth behavior towards LGBT people by submitting a few questions about how you are in IBD We asked ourselves what actions and behaviors of young people towards 3rd sex people We have decided to choose this topic only and we have consulted 100 students After that, we looked at your data, and your feedback and came up with a specific report Although our research is limited, it can still provide some specific insights for you PROJECT Limitations of the research After researching and consulting various resources, we have found a limited number of sections in our research First, our research was limited to the IBD students and we only surveyed about 100 students Therefore, our research does not cover all the students mentioned above IBD and NEU in general The second problem is we not ensure the complete accuracy of the research since some students still not know the information about LGBT and others know what is LGBT but not communicate with them In addition, the feeling and attitudes may change in positive way in the future, that why the results of our research are relative Recommendations for further research Our research has created many options for further research on how students act and behave toward LGBT people For the future, the number of respondents needs to increase so that we can provide information about students’ actions and behavior toward more diverse 3rd sex people Because we limited our investigation to only 100 students from the IBD In addition, there are now many students who are LGBT-savvy and especially they have talked and directly interacted with 3rd sex people, we can discuss that in future studies PROJECT REFERENCE Engage.youth.gov 2023 What Does LGBT Mean?
