Joint Stock Company PREFACE As the global market develops with technological advances, especially the opening of markets in developing and underdeveloped countries, logistics plays a very important role, it is considered by managers as a tool, a means of linking different areas of corporate strategy During the process of studying at the International School Education- Vietnam Maritime University, the professors enthusiastically taught, guided, and helped me so that I could acquire useful knowledge about the theory, theory, import-export, transportation, forwarding, marketing, business and know more valuable experiences to prepare for me to step into life Especially in this semester, the international studying education allowed us to approach reality, from which we have a clearer view The teachers, guests from the port, warehouse, and companies were dedicated to guiding us through each class session, discussion, introduction about the port, warehouse, and company as well as field trips This is an opportunity for us to approach reality, observe, learn working style and experience, apply what we have learned, and promote our ideas Although the internship period was not long, it left me with many useful lessons During the internship period, I was introduced to Vinaship Joint Stock Company With my efforts, I have completed a brief report on the general process of Specialist (Operation Department) Bui Ngoc Quynh – IBL001 Page 17 Vinaship Joint Stock Company General Job description of the operating room specifically is Vessel Operations Specialist • Related Workflows Regulations, regulations, and processes related to the functions and duties of the Department are issued by the Company • Work purpose Implementation of the contract of carriage and chartering Collecting data and reporting the results of the trip Function and dutites Internal Implementation - Research signed contract content Gather information and guidance from related departments officials, make and send trip plans to the command board ships and related departments to coordinate implementation contract - Monitor the ship's daily operations, collect and evaluate the Stock Company CHAPTER SELF-REFLECTION 3.1 Outcomes The first internship has brought me and the students a lot of useful knowledge and practical insights about the field that we are studying During my internship, I visited ports and warehouses, talked with leading logistics companies such as Delta, Vinaship, Kuehne + Nagel This shows me that the logistics industry is very diverse and rich, working that, I also had the opportunity to visit the pagoda port, Hai Minh warehouse I was impressed by the personalities of those guests as they shared their experiences with us They are very friendly, enthusiastic and Bui Ngoc Quynh – IBL001 Page 23 Vinaship Joint Stock Company willing to share all the information Although they are very busy with their work, they are willing to take the time to introduce and answer any questions from students They also did not hesitate to take us to visit the port and warehouse and explain each part of the work, and also provided us with many documents about the Company, warehouse, and port to help us complete the article our internship report 3.1.2 Knowledge and skills During my internship, I have gathered a lot of knowledge related to my field of study From the knowledge in the books to the actual experience outside After the field trip, especially the talk show with Mr Thao, I have a clear view about a shipping company I listened about the history of company, the generation information of Vinaship Joint Stock Company I was introduced about equipment and facilities of the company The functions and duties of all departments in the company and how each department combines to help each other effectively In addition, I understand the main activities of a shipping company Mr Thao also introduced to us about the business activities of the company He showed us the data of last five years result Besides that, he helped us to understand the future plan of Vinaship Joint Stock Company Sea transport is one of the most important modes of transportation in logistics services After the talk show I gained my knowledge about my major also about the shipping company Moreover, I have a clear view about the job I may in the future not only about its duties but also about its necessary skills Understanding that, I know that I have to gain my knowledge also my skills for a professional environment in the future 3.1.3 Future job As a business major student of the international business and logistics, I was very interested in this trip because it was very useful, it was an opportunity for me to see my field better and have a maybe about your future job position After this internship, I want to work in a logistics company, to work in a position where I can make full use of my specialized knowledge, skills and foreign languages I want to work in a sales position, because I love the dynamic nature of that job, not only that, but I can improve and learn my negotiation skills and hone my foreign languages I will my best to equip textbook, beyond what I understand about it when reading through books and newspapers, helping me become more mature in seeing, considering and solving problems To directly witness their future work in a real environment, given the opportunity to apply what they have learned to work Through the field trip, I had a realistic view of the job that I pursue in the future and I saw a lot of job opportunities at Thanks to Mrs and the guests from Vinaship Joint Stock Company, I have a deeper understanding of my field of study and goal orientation for me as a premise to develop myself and I have achieved the goal Field trips are a great opportunity for students to perceive and shape their industry Being exposed to the most modern and professional working environment in Vietnam From there, each individual will improve themselves, gain valuable experiences and lessons for later working at their own life school These are the things that I have learned during the internship I hope Joint Stock Company CONCLUSION During the past three weeks of internship, although I was still very surprised with the scale and working of ports, warehouses, and other businesses, in reality, that knowledge could not be learned.I could ask all of them in books, but I tried hard to learn with real environment Having a conversation with the company, listening to the sharing, and answering questions, I had a better view of the working process of an actual logistics company I can't fully understand through books Besides, I have learned many lessons about knowledge, skills, and attitudes to work in a professional environment In addition, I have learned about self-study, selfstudy, and research knowledge in the business to cultivate knowledge for personal and professional development a career in the future Although the time to participate in the training session is only one month, I feel that this is a valuable and practical opportunity to help me learn a lot of new lessons useful and understand more deeply the lessons learned in school Moreover also have practical access to the business environment, understand how the organization works organization of the business and it is a very useful lesson for me and suitable for me major I am studying Through this internship, I have equipped myself with the necessary equipment for the following internships as well as when working in such an environment after graduation I sincerely thank the teacher for his enthusiastic help and guidance Mrs Nguyen Thi Le Hang and guests from ports, warehouses, companies so that I can complete
