e s s I I is a course book in E nglish d esig n ed for stu d en ts w ho are learning courses on business application The book covers the four language skills o f listening, speaking, reading and w ritin g , as well as im proving pronunciation and building vocabulary P articu lar em p h asis is placed on reading The prim ary goal o f the book is to provide g ram m atical know ledge, som e technical term s, w ords relating to b u sin ess area, that is, to better the stu d en ts’ ability to use the language acco rd in g to professional situations and apply to practical job COURSE LENGTH T he course co n tain s 150 hours o f class instruction tim e, o f w hich hours for theory and 80 h ours for practice ORGANIZATION OF THE BOOK T he book is divided into 10 m ain units and review units
